Anyone are serious in the hobby of grilling and smoking ? I have just got myself a smoker for this new hobby. It's kinda fun to do this on the weekend and im now able to enjoy some of the good grills served commercially such as Peri Peri Chicken, grilled german sausages and even some seafoods.
I would love to hear and see some of the photos of your BBQ dishes, recipes and methods. If you know of any facebook groups or outside clubs, hope you don't mind to share with me. thanks.

let me know once you try it. local woods especially the road side woods were plenty when trimmed by councils. thinking of using that but just wondering if woods will generate more smokes around and more hotter fire ? Smoking of meat requires even fire and lasting for hours. Not sure if local woods can last long, probably soft wood not so good for smoking. hmm.gif

Grilling and smoking very different.
I enjoy smoking got a smoking it smoker and I use either oak, peach, bourbon barrel (oak) or apple. Done pull pork, turkey, salmon, beef brisket and ribs. Ribs just 6hrs using the 3-2-1 method
