looking for a laptop for further study purpose and of course might use it for gaming purpose tongue.gif wanna ask is Asus K501UB a great deal? The games I'll be playing are D2 and NBA. Worry that the requirement for upcoming NBA 2k is getting higher lol. Budget below 3k, but willing to add an extra 300.
(Sorry for not following the posting way like it should be as I copy this from the another thread which i commented)

I'm looking for K501UB and might be purchasing in my town. The shop costs me RM95 for additional 4GB Ram and RM165 for 8GB ram, good deal? The ram is Kingston 1

your home town got asus services center?
*
no also, it's just a small town here in Pahang. It's just putting my laptop in their shop and they send to the service center and I know I can send it myself as I'll be further my study in KL too. I know that the warranty is under ASUS Malaysia too haha. May I know what is the best price I can get at other place?

His transport cost le...travel from raub to kl 2 ways bus fare alone RM 30 de... Petrol rm50.. If he more ulu how...

His case better get Dell.. Warranty on-site

From my research I know that Dell has the best warranty service for users while Asus is pretty lousy. But after compare Vostro 5459 ,Inspiron 5559 and Asus K501, I still think that K501 is the best pick.
Since thr retail price is 3.2k and I can get it at 3119 and maybe cheaper I think it's ok too. But what I want to know is what is the price for upgrading ram? For an additional 4gb and 8gb?
