Hi guys, can you all recommend me on a laptop?

1. Preferred Brand:
None.

2. Budget:
2.5k, but willing to go up to 3.2k MAX if it's worth it. (Not including OS because I have my own W10 key, antivirus, Office)

3. Usage:
Web browsing, music making (using software like Ableton Live, Guitar Rig, etc), video editing (Sony Vegas), movies, light gaming (if possible can run Dota2 at high settings), video calls (so preferably has good cam and mic).

4. Preferred laptop/screen size:
14 inches.

Must have:
At least 3 usb ports, with 1 still using usb2.0 (because my Line 6 UX2 audio interface is not compatible with usb3.0)

Bonus:
-Long battery life. At least 4 hours.
-Good after sale service.

Thank you for any help sifus!

So I've doing some hunting online for the Dell Inspiron 7447. Sadly I can only find the i5/500gb hdd version. I'll try to keep looking for the i7/1tb version, but are there any alternatives around the rm3k bracket?

EDIT:
Does anyone know if this website is legit?

I saw at Digital Mall PJ got the Inspiron 7447 i7-4720HQ variant for rm3.8k. Wayy overbudget.

What about the Lenovo Y40-80? Any thoughts?
Also any idea if the Lenovo Y700 14-inch is coming to malaysia?

Hey there. I'm gonna update my requirements a bit after doing some thinking. Here goes.

1. Preferred Brand:
None.

2. Budget:
2.5k, but willing to go up to 3k if it's worth it. (Not including OS because I have my own W10 key, antivirus, Office)

3. Usage:
Web browsing, music making (using software like Ableton Live, Guitar Rig, etc), video editing (Sony Vegas), light gaming (if possible can run Dota2 at high settings), programming (for work), will be travelling with it a lot.

4. Preferred laptop/screen size:
14 inches.

Must have (from most to least important):
-At least 3 usb ports, with 1 still using usb2.0 (because my Line 6 UX2 audio interface is not compatible with usb3.0)
-Skylake (Gen 6) i5 - U processor (I don't see the need to go i7, U for improved battery life)
-Portable / lightweight (2.3kg or less)
-Long battery life
-1TB HDD (or 126GB SSD + 500GB HDD)
-4GB RAM

Thank you for any help sifus! For now I'm still looking for Inspiron 7447, but I feel I should get something with longer battery life, a little lighter, and longer lasting (since 7447 uses 4th gen i7).
