Hi sifus, need help again this time..
currently, maximum budget is rm2400.. cannot go up anymore.
main purpose will be only for work, doing some medium programming and watch movies.


Requirement needed:

- must be windows 7 (my environment restrict me not to use windows 8,10.. this part sucks)
- 14" only, slim design would be nice.
- i3/i5 processor, anything that good for multitask,
- no need for graphic card,
- at least 2-3 slot USB port.
- at least 300gb storage minimum
- good battery life, some condition will work without power plug nearby for 1-2hr.

additional,
need to have with microsoft office (word,excel and powerpoint) together, doesnt matter if need to buy separately but must be under the budget restraint.
looking only for asus, toshiba or lenovo notebook, no dell.


Any recommendation with this budget? need both laptop and ms office together with that limit.

Yeah I noticed that it's very hard to get built in win 7 nowadays. Doesn't win 8 has the opt for downgrade?

Currently I'm eyeing on asus a555lj, the spec is quite ok but still a windows 8.1.

I don't mind if it's preloaded with other version windows because I can get win7 pro after, just need that it support drivers.
