Im planning to get a asus ux305CA 8GB RAM/256GB SD version just for school use/ movies and web browsing. will the processor too weak? and isit future proof? i worried the laptop will get laggy after few years

its fit your current usage,. but no one can promise any laptop has future proof , the term is too wide to be , lagging can be cause of a lot of factor, could be virus inffected OS,  faulty ssd, ram, overheat, dust  stucking and so on

Hey guys. I am currently looking for a laptop for college/personal use. In dire need of some help. Looking to get a laptop that fits the criteria below:

1. Preferred brand - Asus, Lenovo, HP, or Dell
2. Budget - RM2,200 - RM2,800
3. Mainly for 'Video Editing' and 'Watching Movies'
4. Screen size - 13 - 14 inches

Additional information:

- Not so heavy (Below 2kg if possible)
- Good audio and visual (Suitable to play movies)
- Good battery life (Don't have to be for the entire day - Moderate use)
- Good performance and memory (Enough for to fulfill my primary usage)

ah shit.. msi if sendiri at ssd void warranty kan.. i scare ux305 cannot accomodate my usage. Cos i need to do reports bla bla using excel and alot of work also using pdf for markup and comments.

but rm4240 is overbudget, my budget 3-3.5k only... and it's heavy.. i wan a lighter option.
