u mean for the notebook or the ram or both? I know the price in KL must be cheaper but my mum still prefer to buy in my town, any problem easier to contact haha.

the retail price for that model alone without any upgrade is 3.2k

I found pretty decent one which is Asus X751LX TY107T but the problem is its 17" screen. Is it too big compared to a 15.6" screen? It also came with 4gb but I think that it is possible to upgrade it?
*
that one using entry level graphic card 920m which is it never ever will handle games smoothly sweat.gif

Hi, I'm looking for budget gaming laptop,I wondering why is no one mentioning about asus gl552vw here, most of the people here suggest dell i7559.
Budget less than 4k the best. Any one can help me want to buy ASAP thank u!
*
because its asus who has the worst after sales service in malaysia
if you dont care about after sales service and like the design of ROG laptop, then asus is for you

Actually at the bottom of the charts got hp n MSI...dun forget lenovo..

Asus just the worst warranty service... If consider build quality into it.. Asus might just after Dell n illegear..

Of coz we have to ignore design la... Fancy design mostly HV to sacrifice performance.. Like Razer blade.. Boil water le... U think alot model HV design n steady performance like xps 13 meh.
*
which razer blade is that? got more than one razer blade model outside there
Razer blade is a gaming laptop of cos the temperature while gaming are not good plus with their slim profile also can contribute to high temperature too
where got gaming laptop with slim profile that will never get heat up while gaming lorr
even alienware 13 also suffer with high temperature while gaming
if just use for work other than gaming the temperature is quite okay
xps13 is not a gaming laptop sure the temperature are nice

Hi guys, I've been considering of HP Pavillion Gaming 15-ak031TX.
There's a shop offering me this model at RM3.3k. My budget is 3k and Im considering should I top up to get this or not. Usage for study purposes and gaming at medium setting. I've checked this thread but not many is recommending HP, why?
*
because after sales service for HP is not good same like Asus
if dont care about that thing, it's a good laptop with a nice spec for gaming and the price is considerably cheaper for that spec for 15" screen laptop
can opted for 14" if your budget cant stretch above 3k where the price for 14" is 2.5k with almost same spec with 15" model

how lousy is their aftersale service? any experience to share with? and now is it still that bad since it's already on-site warranty now?
*
same level with asus or even worse below asus perhaps
their after sales service are not same like 2 years ago
about on-site warranty im not quite sure whether it's still good or not, perhaps can wait another hp laptop owner that has experience dealing with their on-site warranty to comment about that..
