Keep your fan and intakes free from dust.

i clean my fans but it still over heat! like hell

What about the bits between the heatsink?

Or try changing the thermal paste.

can i use a vacuum to clean the bits?

i didnt touch the thermal paste.

Try not to do that to minimize static damage. It's not that difficult to remove the dust using a blower (like those for camera cleaning) or just use your mouth la ( don't spit on it though )

will static damage leave a big impact? all my life i use vacumm and suck all the way! hahaha.
yes blowing without saliva i can do that. sumtimes i use the thingy to dig ears too xD

take ur notebook apart remove dust in / out heat sink... and repaste thermal paste and change 3M sticker inside heat sink... here my Msi gt70 20d

hm 3m sticker you find it under aluminum@copper heat sink when u dismantle to re-paste GPU/CPU it help thermal transfer gpu mem heat to heatsink.. lol i think la.. (actually depend on Notebook u have) sorry i don't have picture inside i so focus to not fuk up my repaste forget to take pic...

sorry i am Noob level but i don't know on signature i am still building my Desktop and is my first built...
-thermal pad is good on GPU memory to heat sink and is not effective as thermal Paste..

Edit: i am sure u can find thermal pad under MSI GT650 GPU if one day the gpu go bad then u can dismantle it see inside (separate heatsink and GPU.. )
