I'm truly disappointed with the board not taking any move. It's true we missed out on great manager sticking with someone that most fans are not and can no longer stick with. Why do you assume I'm going to support other teams? In which context do I say that? I've been and always a die hard fans of my team. Can't deny, if this carries on, we will be like liverpool soon. I'm just afraid it will be too hard for us to rise again unless we get a proven manager and another complete team overhaul. What's for sure United will rise again one day. Mark my words. Just don't try to be smarta$$ and assume or judge other fans. You are not better than others. |

QUOTE(is.Nada @ Feb 4 2016, 09:17 PM) 1. We were NEVER going to get Pep. Let's not pretend he is even coming. He rejected the chance to manage us when SAF retired, what makes u think he would do so now when the team is in bigger mess? I did not say I fancy Pep but he is though a proven manager. I'm am pointing out that we are missing out on great managers. Ancelotti? You are right too, pleasing superstars ego is important as well. At our current situation, our players had to please this LVG ego so they can continue to be selected even they were played out of position. We spent so much on Di Maria and then he was played out of position and left after 1 season. Who is the problem? Remember Ronaldo? SAF kicked RVN for him. Cantona? He was the only player to have special treatment from SAF as he admit it. Cantona doesn't receive any hairdryer treatment. LVG ego and philosophy is killing us.2. Why do you fancy Pep? I never did like his ways. He is overrated imo. Look at luis enrique right now. Flop at Roma, won like 10 trophies with Barca? You don't need to be a manager to succeed at Barca, all you need to do is please those superstars ego. A psychiatrist can do that. 3. I do not like LVG but i think he is our best bet right now. None of us like defensive football, so that rules out Jose and Diego. So who is left? Biesla? I doubt his methods work in the EPL. He makes the team run for 90 minutes non stop. |

QUOTE(hocksoo @ Feb 4 2016, 09:55 PM) Giggs is an even bigger wildcard right now.. What's the point of sacking LvG right now and replace him with Giggs? Probably won't even make a difference. Even if we appoint him as manager in the summer , odds succeeding is even though still there , but not high. Look at GNev , very analytical individual , 0 wins in the league so far. Giggs would be better off managing some smaller teams as first team manager as the difference between manager and assistant manager is very big , and come back when he's proven . Even then there's no guaranteed success. |

As I've said previously, we'll have to stick with LVG at least till the end of the season. As evident from the last 2 games, Utd can play in a more aggressive way. Dunno if it's a knee jerk reaction from the Southampton loss or a change of philosophy. We will find out soon enough from the Chelsea & Arsenal games. But if we fail to get positives results from these games, I guess it's fair to say that realistically, the top 4 is out of reach considering leicester's & Spurs' fine form.
And if that happen, what then? Does the board wait until it's mathematically impossible, like Moyes, to sack LVG or he goes then & there after the Arsenal game? |

From Players, Managers, Board, Owners, Coaches, not surprised if even the tea lady and electrician also got criticized.. If you're just looking to support United when they are on top and shit on them when they are down, just go over to chiteh, they don't have to worry about doing business, just throw money.Just don't try to be smarta$$ and assume or judge other fans.
