First of all i've read previous threads in this section and i realize this feature is the way it is. The point is, currently there's my thread in the garage sales and i'm selling a pet. And when people post in my thread at a low traffic time of the day, I don't get to BUMP it at a desired time, which is mainly at a high traffic time. And today someone posted in my thread at 02:59 AM, which i'm sure there are less people. What i'm saying is, when someone does that, my thread gets buried pages behind and i can't bump it for the whole day You can check the thread out, the link's on my signature This post has been edited by kmf123: Dec 12 2006, 08:24 PM

They aren't supposed to do that (post meaninglessly in the name of "free bumping"). You can report it in the future.

QUOTE(wKkaY @ Dec 12 2006, 08:37 PM) They aren't supposed to do that (post meaninglessly in the name of "free bumping"). You can report it in the future. That will solve a problem for a day, and besides what happens when someone posted a valid question but at a very very wrong time? Competitors will try all sorts of ways to ruin people's thread, not that I'm doing any business at the moment. Not to be demanding but I think you should look into this issue

QUOTE(kmf123 @ Dec 13 2006, 12:20 AM) That will solve a problem for a day, and besides what happens when someone posted a valid question but at a very very wrong time? You can then answer the question at a very very right time of your choice (which bumps the topic up).

QUOTE(Vinspire @ Dec 12 2006, 09:22 PM) Just lock the topic on the period of time where you don't want ur topic to be bump then This helps, but, when it's locked, some people might end up with an idea that it has been sold... QUOTE(wKkaY @ Dec 12 2006, 09:27 PM) You can then answer the question at a very very right time of your choice (which bumps the topic up). Yes, this is the right way to bump you're topic, but make sure that u don't just simply say something meaningless to answer the question or just by typing something that is not related to the question or you might end up with getting a warning. Similar items are to be grouped together in a single thread If u see anyone doing that with the same kinda items, pls report it

QUOTE(zyrl @ Dec 13 2006, 04:57 PM) so means if a person is selling 3 procs, 2 tables, 1 car rim & 3 bags, means this person can open 4 threads? can, because 4 are different types and have different subforums, so it won't disrupt the whole page..

No big deal, just wait for someone to report it so that a moderator can move it into the right place.
