Lol sorry man Afobe isn't Arsenal material, even more so when we decided to let him go.
He is a good player, but only for the likes of Bournemouth where he currently is. |

Lol Costa deserves to have his legs broken.
True it was a dive from Costa but Per should not have slid in like he did. Ref has every right to send the useless oaf off. People talk about Coq and Sanchez being the biggest misses. But to me its Santi. Its now little wonder Wenger persists on Santi over Ramsey in the middle. Too slow, loses the ball too often, not technically good enough, slows down the game too much and not enough discipline to be in such an important position on the field. |

Feeling slightly more optimistic about our chances now that more of our players are back.
I said when Coq got stretchered off through injury that depending on the length he is out for our BPL chances were stretchered away as well. Looks like we barely made it, by the skin of our teeth, barely hanging on to our title challenge and thank god he has returned. Any longer with Flamini as our starting DM and we can kiss the BPL goodbye. But multiple factors have also contributed to our poor run. Ramsey being extremely poor in the middle, which considering is supposedly his best position is worrying. Lets see how he fares with Coq. Probably its just Flamini making him look worse than he is, We will see. Per being exposed. Don't think I need to say more about his lack of speed. Koscielny has been uncharacteristically poor over the past couple of games. Usually so reliable but has been prone to lapses in concentration and mistakes we aren't usually accustomed to. Needs to buck up. Theo back to his 18 year old self without a footballing brain. Hopefully the returns of Sanchez, Coq and Rosicky would breathe new life into the team for our run in. |

A couple of points:
1. Worrying performance again from Koscielny. Seems to get turned more easily these days. Doesn't bode well at all and hopefully this is just a bad patch he is going through. Gabriel was pretty shaky as well. 2. Elneny has work rate. Off the ball movement and positioning seems decent as well. But sadly the timing of his attempted interceptions and tackling were absolutely horrendous. For a moment I thought we had a poor mans Fellaini. Still it's only his first game so let's give him more time. 3. Great to see Coq and Alexis back. They truly are a level above everyone else who played today. 4. While OX is still hit and miss his performance today has been a huge improvement from recent games. And that is encouraging IMO. 5. Giroud is bloody frustrating. And now he has developed a stupid habit of coming deep and moving wide when he is supposed to be in the bloody box. 6. Theo celebrated his 10th year anniversary but the maturity of his game seemed to have regressed by 10 years back to when he first joined the club. 7. Arteta is a clown. I don't want to see him in an arsenal shirt on the field anymore. Easily the WORST CM in the BPL right now. Sorry it's time to hang up your boots or a retirement big money move to an Indian, Arab or Chinese team. 8. Rozzaaaaaa is backkkkkk 9. Iwobi. This kid has a really bright future ahead of him. looks to have more of a footballing brain than Ox or theo ever had even at such a young age. P/S: That Michael Kightly from Burnley looks like a fat Aaron Ramsey. This post has been edited by sigheart: Jan 31 2016, 02:35 AM |

QUOTE(Dead4Life @ Jan 31 2016, 09:53 PM) I really don't know whether to laugh or cry. Love him but its useless if he doesn't play. He is one of the players we should probably look to offload at the end of the season alongside Arteta, Flamini and at a stretch Wilshere. |

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Feb 1 2016, 02:19 AM) I love Tomas and yes, I rate Jack as well. But as good as they are its useless if they aren't able to play. Free up the wages and squad places to others who are actually able to play. |

How many games have we been poor? It's something like 5 or more games in a row I reckon where we have played so badly. We are looking less and less like champions with every passing game.
Wenger really has his work cut out for the run in. This post has been edited by sigheart: Feb 3 2016, 04:22 AM |

Lol as it stands we are back in the running for fourth place trophy. Finishing below Spurs, who look really value for money would be the icing on the cake.
Come on lads time to buck up. I'm expecting a reaction in the second half. |

Probably some fresh energy in the second half could do the trick. Ox or theo on for Campbell if things stays the same by the 60th minute.
