can this adapter fit into the european power socket ? i am more concern on the two-pin, can the pins fit into their power socket ?
this type of adapter is so easy to find, it is available almost everywhere in malaysia





from my online research, this seems to be the right one for europe, but this kind of adapter is harder to find in malaysia

buy earthed one, their earthed one has 2 prongs and one contact in the middle.

both can.. but do note if u have the 3 pin and u wanna convert to 2 pin... u need the later 1...

just ask from the hotel lobby...

I went to Netherlands and Germany, I didn't prepare it
Then I just bought the converter 2 to 3 Euro from their market like our pasar malam

i checked many photos online, it seems that they have metal plate at the top middle, dunno if that's needed for grounding or what

i am wondering if the 2-pin adapter can compatible with 3-pin plug, just connect the 2-pin into the adapter leaving the ground pin at the top

yes that metal sticking out from the wall outlet is the grounding line.
the plug will have a metal contact for that purpose.

It's quite hard to get here unless you go for expensive 1 - universal adapters

does the hotel say anything about not bringing the adapter out of hotel?

tye huat or whatever electrical shops have a lot of these adapters. usually i also pack in a 3 port plug so that i can charge all my devices with just 1 adapter.

malaysias 2 pin plugs are compatible in germany, no need for any extras, just the 3pin wont fit without an adapter.

Unless ur 2 pin is protrude out covering ur ground pin then can lot... If not how to fit into their plug

yours seems to be multipurpose and useful but too bulky to carry around

that's what im gonna do, and i need to charge my powerbanks(3 units), phones, tablets with these adapters

that's why i need an europe adapter to extend the 2-pin from the original 3-pin cord

You plug in the universal socket into the wall. Then you use a multiprong adapter; the local types. But that one is big and bulky.

been to europe many times. the malaysian 2-pin connector will fit without any problems (assuming it is the usual round pin type)

3 of my plugs also with 3-pin connector, so i still need adapter

posted wrong pic, tat 1 not eu standard, but as long as sit's that 2 pin, cincai cucuk oso can, sometimes their lubang looks weird, but hentam je la, oni italian diff, but most of the place will prepare 2 pin to 3 pin converter

i know the pins can actually fit accurately into the two holes, but the shape of the socket is different, sked the both side of the plastic blocked the socket to go in.

Yes I already made my decision to get the direct convert adapter,
I dont have any plan to buy the universal from the very beginning, i still dont like the universal adapter, too big and bulky to me

If urs is this I believe it will fit... No worry... Jus carefully when plug in sometimes u will see spark... Haha
