If you have been to Europe

can this adapter fit into the european power socket ? i am more concern on the two-pin, can the pins fit into their power socket ?
this type of adapter is so easy to find, it is available almost everywhere in malaysia

from my online research, this seems to be the right one for europe, but this kind of adapter is harder to find in malaysia

i checked many photos online, it seems that they have metal plate at the top middle, dunno if that's needed for grounding or what

It's quite hard to get here unless you go for expensive 1 - universal adapters  icon_idea.gif
So it's your call, just check those shops like OnKing, SenHeng  hmm.gif

earlier i went to look for adapter, i managed to find this type
user posted image

as i know germany using the round type ? or the above will also fit the round hole?

QUOTE(kaffra @ Dec 23 2015, 04:28 PM)
tye huat or whatever electrical shops have a lot of these adapters. usually i also pack in a 3 port plug so that i can charge all my devices with just 1 adapter.

malaysias 2 pin plugs are compatible in germany, no need for any extras, just the 3pin wont fit without an adapter.
*
mine are 3-pin
does these two compatible with each other ?

anything will do as long as it can fit into the socket,

i prefer non-universal one, carrying 3 units of universal is like carry 1 piece of brick liao, ahahaha

I have one universal.  It is quite light.  biggrin.gif

Actually, you might only need one?

You plug in the universal socket into the wall.  Then you use a multiprong adapter; the local types.  But that one is big and bulky.  biggrin.gif

Anyway,

http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/p...-and-sockets/f/

This specifies the dimensions of the prongs and distance apart.

Compare with -

http://www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/p...-and-sockets/c/

Looks ok.
*
I need at least 3,
nah not gonna carry an extra multiprong adapter biggrin.gif

QUOTE(joe_mamak @ Dec 23 2015, 10:20 PM)
good one, looks like type C can fit into german socket

QUOTE(daBigBoss @ Dec 23 2015, 10:22 PM)
been to europe many times. the malaysian 2-pin connector will fit without any problems (assuming it is the usual round pin type)
*
3 of my plugs also with 3-pin connector, so i still need adapter

*
ok thanks, ya, cuz im curious whether this one can actually fit that round hole socket,
i know the pins can actually fit accurately into the two holes, but the shape of the socket is different, sked the both side of the plastic blocked the socket to go in.

but i think can fit according to the website posted by joe_mamak

just don buy those universal 1, u know tat type include usa etc, too big, and wont fit in some socket or to heavy for those 45% degree socket. buy straight convert 1.
*
Yes I already made my decision to get the direct convert adapter,
I dont have any plan to buy the universal from the very beginning, i still dont like the universal adapter, too big and bulky to me
