It sounds like they are rejecting OW redemption by simply saying no availability.

Last year my Suite from Shanghai was cleared 3 or 5 days before departure.
If not mistaken, the seat was 3 of 6 occupied.
I guess they will fill up the seat if there is vacancy and probably with sufficient FA.
As I already purchased the ticket so just ignore.

With new regulation, waitlist will be clear 2 weeks in advance, so you can know the status not till very last minute.
I have a waitlist to Zurich next month, currently it is 5 of 6 occupied, let's see how.

Oh we will be inform how many seats are still vacant from time to time? But 2 weeks in advance is kinda short for preparation. Should we wait till last minute, like 2 weeks before the flying date to buy the ticket or are there any other better option?

I’ve got cleared waitlisted 2 days before for SYD on the new suite. Haven’t seen where you can redeem it outright SAVERS.

Not too long ago, the seat was waitlisted prior to the implementation of the 2 weeks rule.

I tried redeeming Suite class tickets from KLIA to London / Zurich. Somehow, I am only shown Business Class tickets.

To get Suite class tickets, i have to search for flights from Singapore to Zurich.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Thanks.

Lounge are nice perks. No one is saying to spend your entire holiday exploring lounges? Say you get to airport 3 hours before flight. You'd get to spend 1+ hr in a lounge, relax, have some refreshments etc

I agree with SQ’s business class at Silver Kris - it’s a dated product. The First Class and Private Room are somewhat better, IMHO anyway. CX’s lounges are also quite good, especially their noodle bar.

The Private Room's food is actually pretty good, topped off with some nice Dom. It's just a bit too dated and snooty whereas the rest of the world seems to be taking a more modern contemporary approach.

The best shower room I've ever used is the one @ Haneda, in ANA Suite (I was flying SQ First Class, and I don't think they have a KrisFlyer lounge there, so I was asked to use ANA's First Class Suite). Oh my goodness. It blows anything SQ has clean out of the water!

I have already registered via the link to extend. I have 36k AM miles expiring this month and around 5k AM miles expiring in May 2023. So, what should I do besides registering? I spoke to the CS via WhatsApp and they keep asking me to contact the bank to transfer an accumulated total of 30k AM from an eligible bank to my account from now to June 2022.

My question is what should I do to ensure at least my 36k AM miles will not expire this month?
