Thanks for the advice.
I have called the enrich hotline to check for the availability of JAL and AA, to my surprise both also no availability.
It sounds like they are rejecting OW redemption by simply saying no availability.

Anyone have experience redeeming OW from Enrich?
*
If you have time, I personally prefer to go to KL Sentral for more complicated One World redemption or when I have problems getting the tickets through call. Sometimes the contact centre really sucks, just like other airline such as SIA

Hi

Regarding the 10x points, doest online hotel booking such as agoda/booking.com etc counts?
*
If paid online it doesn't count, be very careful with this card, lots of T&C you have to take note. Like some mentioned, track carefully so as not to overspend beyond the limit or spending on unqualitified items (1x point)

Thanks bro, good to hear that. Just need it to be done before 31st.. 😂
*
Their standard remark always 2/3 weeks, if 31st, then must transfer by today. So far never encountered more than 7 years, but 5 or 6 days is possible.

If I am offered to pay S$3,210 cc annual fee to gain 150,000 KF miles, which is equivalent to S$0.0214 or MYR$0.0642 per miles....

Is that worth it?
*
It's worth only if you fly first class, business very unlikely. But it's still not cheap

Departing from Sg to Europe.
So happened the date is matching, so just proceed.
Best choice for dinner is BTC lobster?

Still waitlist for 2x new A380 to go 2nd honeymoon with my wife.

QUOTE(digidigi @ Oct 10 2019, 11:04 AM)
The lobster is ok, but sometimes getting mix review, or maybe u can book something else onboard and have a lobster meal in private room? The standard still quite good, on dinner menu.
*
Somehow I find SIA food so so only, and IMO lobster not good, so agree with the suggestion try lobster at Private Room while onboard try something else

Thanks, will look into it.
Any suggestion for BTC?

So far I really don't like their menu, but for my upcoming trip I choose Duck Confit hopefully it's ok.

Last year my Suite from Shanghai was cleared 3 or 5 days before departure.
If not mistaken, the seat was 3 of 6 occupied.
I guess they will fill up the seat if there is vacancy and probably with sufficient FA.
As I already purchased the ticket so just ignore.

With new regulation, waitlist will be clear 2 weeks in advance, so you can know the status not till very last minute.
I have a waitlist to Zurich next month, currently it is 5 of 6 occupied, let's see how.
*
QUOTE(pingoz @ Oct 15 2019, 03:32 PM)
Oh we will be inform how many seats are still vacant from time to time? But 2 weeks in advance is kinda short for preparation. Should we wait till last minute, like 2 weeks before the flying date to buy the ticket or are there any other better option?
*
I feel it's getting harder with the new 2 weeks rule.
Previously, as long as they have seats, very high chances they will still release last minute (encountered once they released few hours before).
But now, if left 2 weeks and they decide they will not release, your waitlist will be removed immediately, and no more waitlist for you

I’ve got cleared waitlisted 2 days before for SYD on the new suite. Haven’t seen where you can redeem it outright SAVERS.
*
2 days before? Long ago? Now 2 weeks don't get will be auto removed from waitlist

Not too long ago, the seat was waitlisted prior to the implementation of the 2 weeks rule.
*
Oh ok....that's why I still prefer old rules....I can confirm a seat first nearer to my waitlisted date, even if they last minute release the waitlisted seat still good for me, I still can take it. Now 2 weeks before if can't get means no chance anymore

I tried redeeming Suite class tickets from KLIA to London / Zurich. Somehow, I am only shown Business Class tickets.

To get Suite class tickets, i have to search for flights from Singapore to Zurich.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem? Thanks.
*
Cannot be done online you need to call them since it's a mixed class where KUL-SIN is on business

Can't rmb the date, it was few months ago.
Easiest route - Mumbai
Fly while last, new suite will remove from Mumbai somewhere mid of next year.

nice suggestion there but i'm not a baller so i'm grabbing this chance to explore the country as well not just enjoy the lounge and then balik sweat.gif laugh.gif

Lounge are nice perks. No one is saying to spend your entire holiday exploring lounges? Say you get to airport 3 hours before flight. You'd get to spend 1+ hr in a lounge, relax, have some refreshments etc
*
Different ppl have different preference, for myself, if there are some really nice lounges in the airport, I could even spend 3-4 hours lounge hopping

How was your Asia miles experience??Seems that flight availability is even worse than sq.all need waitlist,is that the case?
*
QUOTE(charlesj @ Dec 31 2019, 05:22 PM)
All depends on travel destination and timing...
When more people into miles game (worldwide), there will be less seat availability
*
SQ is getting tougher nowadays, of course depends on destination but IMO still a lot tougher compared to before they changed to the 2 weeks waitlist results

If not mistaken I recall SIA b/s claiming that with the recent miles revision etc, they allot higher seats for redemption

For those with expiring KF, here are the options available:
https://mainlymiles.com/2020/04/14/krisflye...he-scrapheap-2/
*
They actually offered some good options few days ago to extend validity, for flights before 31st May cancellation and also those miles expiring in the next few months. Can't remember the details, but I did manage to utilise both options.

I agree with SQ’s business class at Silver Kris - it’s a dated product. The First Class and Private Room are somewhat better, IMHO anyway. CX’s lounges are also quite good, especially their noodle bar.

The Private Room's food is actually pretty good, topped off with some nice Dom. It's just a bit too dated and snooty whereas the rest of the world seems to be taking a more modern contemporary approach.
*
Have not been to so many lounges before just a few, but really hate TPR @ Changi. So many business class lounge far more superior than TPR, but of course being a first class food is generally better

The best shower room I've ever used is the one @ Haneda, in ANA Suite (I was flying SQ First Class, and I don't think they have a KrisFlyer lounge there, so I was asked to use ANA's First Class Suite). Oh my goodness. It blows anything SQ has clean out of the water!
*
I still prefer CX biz class shower in HKG, I used before First Class shower in Tokyo but can't remember Narita or Haneda one, but comparing the one I used there, still think CX is way better

I'm kind of lost with AM Mileage renewal program. https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_HK/offe...ge-renewal.html

I have already registered via the link to extend. I have 36k AM miles expiring this month and around 5k AM miles expiring in May 2023. So, what should I do besides registering? sweat.gif I spoke to the CS via WhatsApp and they keep asking me to contact the bank to transfer an accumulated total of 30k AM from an eligible bank to my account from now to June 2022.

My question is what should I do to ensure at least my 36k AM miles will not expire this month? sweat.gif
*
From what I understand:-
1) Register
2) Transfer the required miles
3) Expired miles will be reinstated into the new miles system
