QUOTE(minthiam @ Dec 12 2016, 02:27 PM) If you wanna have confirmed ticket right away, by all means go for MH. In this aspect, they are the best! not really. MH flight now a days quite full, and fares are very expensive. For example I am looking for KUL - PVG flight. MH quoted RM4500++, and no tickets available if transit thru SG KUL-SG-PVG, fly SQ, fare only RM25++ really dont understand. |

QUOTE(minthiam @ Dec 12 2016, 09:12 PM) Huh? I thought we were still on the redemption topic? If not then i am afraid you are not comparing apple to apple. With Enrich redemption, you are able to get a confirmed ticket rightaway unlike CX or SQ but if are looking for cheaper fare not through redemption, you might wanna consider China Eastern Airlines too. ops, sorry, misunderstood. |

recently flown on One world alliance airlines (Cathay) to Taiwan (return = 4 flights) and found out economy tickets not eligable for MH Miles and Sector. Really disappointed, I should have flown on Airasia instead.
MH Enrich and One World Alliance although is partner, it does not give much points/rewards. |

QUOTE(minthiam @ Nov 19 2018, 10:34 AM) It depends on your booking class. If your booking class is Discounted Economy Class (H/K/M) and above, you will get 50% Enrich Miles. I get nothing! no miles and no sector!Always check your booking class before you fly, here's the link on MAS, https://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/enri...ay-pacific.html it is not fair as how would i know when booking what class is given? |

QUOTE(tishaban @ Nov 29 2018, 09:54 AM) You can check before you buy your tickets by clicking "Fare Rules" or "Booking Details". The latter is much easier to read. learned my lesson oledi... actually it is booked thru travel agent...If you don't like the booking class, choose a higher fare eg. Economy Smart actually other airlines ie. SQ is more attractive in terms of rates and service and aircraft... so if MAS continue to be so LCLY, she will suffer in long run after all customers abandon ship |

QUOTE(digidigi @ Nov 29 2018, 12:22 PM) Mas is inferior to its major competitor in the region, in terms of cleanliness, service, hard product, soft product, ground handling, home airport environment... everything! yup. flying on mas because of Patriotism, but the level MAS is doing business will only push would be customers further and further away |
