On AM, KUL-HAK-KUL on Cathay Dragon is 20,000 Miles + HKD983 (w/ stopover in Hong Kong)
i think MAS doesn't fly this route.

I redeem Asia Miles using below way,

10K miles - 2 ticket one way flight.
Bangkok to Singapore, Singapore to HK.

Every flight reserve only certain amount of seat for redeeming miles.
