I just got a LC65UE630X from 11st Street which deliver 2 days ago.

I'm still exploring some features of the set.

Is there any way to install HyppTV Everywere into the TV?

65... nice! thumbup.gif

this tv runs on google androidtv.

it can take many popular apps incl hyppewhere, astrogo, iflix, kodi, etc..

besides the approved youtube, netflix, etc.

hv u used anything android before - box, tablet, phone?

if yes, easy.

if no, will hv to explain a bit.

go back 20-30 pages, read some of the posts incl mine which talks about app installation.

see if u can get some of it going.

Hi thanks. installed HyppTV app in my iPhone and its working. However unable to install in the tv directly as is not support (angry).

yes I have a old mibox that need to explore as well.

will go back 20-30 pages to check. TQ

Is this still the best value TV? There's a wide range of new TVs now when I visit Harvey Norman. Even Sony has Oled.

its subject to what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend. for me, my wife think sharp colour better as compare to sony 7500D, (both are 4K Android and similar price range) Sony with HDR but is consider mid range in Sony and Sharp 630x is older model without HDR but better build quality + extra smart remote.

ok, i think u installed hyppewhere on iphone with the appstore.
apple ios apps are NOT the same as android apps.

google androids have playstore.
google androidtv have a playstore too but is restricted, much less apps than the generic playstore.
this is for control and security of the TV less some malware gets in.

u cannot find hyppewhere, astrogo, iflix in the tv playstore.
u need to first install es file explorer from playstore.
then u find the app (apk) from pc, copy onto thumbdrive, insert it into TV usb slot, install with es file explorer.
https://apkpure.com/hypptv-everywhere-table...m.huawei.pad.tm
this is called sideloading, enables u to install apps that are not found in tv playstore.

yeah, read back the pages, try.
*
Yup I understand IOS appstore and google play store is diff. using both ios and android phone here.

also thanks for the advice on the sideload (really need to explore more on the tv and read more) I will try it tonight.

Main importance is the picture quality, not the fancy terms they use. How it looks on the screen for the same price is what counts.

Sold my 58UE630X some time ago, but now I see 65in screen becoming more affordable.
*
Yup prices of 65 inch tv does drop a lot compare to 2 years back. I guess now the entry is around 55 inch. guess next year the entry will be 65 inch and the prices will drop more. so imho is after buying the TV, stop looking and make the best of the current TV set you had buy. (it will last a good couple or years for me for this tv set)

Sony can get 7500D at 5.25k at 11st Street. a older model but should be almost same with 7000E. I read somewhere LG don't go for 6 series.

Tried that and it works perfectly. Managed to load HyppTV and Showbox into the tv. however I can only access from ES file explorer. Is there any way to bring the program out to the main screen? (Kind of complicated to teach my parent to used)

What kind of issue do you have? I'm using it on my tv but using usb aftermarket remote with air mouse, easier to control/navigate because hypptv apk is meant/optimized for touch screen actually, not so friendly with mouse/keyboard...
*
I'm using Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and mouse as well, however in hyppTV app the keyboard and mouse seems not really function, and the TV remote can't select properly

2 people hv now told u simple wireless or air mouse works - hyppewhere or any other app for that matter.
any rm30-40 mouse will work.
likely yr keyboard keymap not correct for the tv.
and that probably explains why ue630x prices are so attractive now.

this link says new p9000, p8000 and p7000 series.
HDR, but is smart tv, no more androidtv, i believe.
prices... we'll see.

Think so

this few days I buy Modeo AirMouse with mini keboard (KB58), tested and some key is not functioning. When back and exchange today with KB59 model, worst. Both at RM 70 below.

any good and reliable air mouse around?

Did anyone face this issue with your UE630X TV? My Youtube app is not working properly, when it plays the video, it display horizontal lines and unable to view the video. You can hear the audio but image is horizontal line. When you stop the video, Youtube app exited and says got problem. This started about 2 weeks ago.
*
Hi, I'm facing the same issue on YouTube like you. Tried uninstall but the only option I have is downgrade. Trying that also no difference.
