You may be right - but I have actually communicated with quite a few people on LYN (albeit via PM) who have been interested in and some who have managed to been offered interviews with MBB firms.
Let's not forget that there are many other consulting companies out there like Accenture and PwC who hire quite heavily in Malaysia 
I just thought I'd offer an outlet for discussion, and if it ends up not taking off at all I'll close the thread after a while, but thank you for your input - duly noted
