I can verify that jdownloader does work for Facebook videos. The other chrome plugin you can try is the video downloader helper.

I use Getfvid to download any video from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter video

Put dl before YouTube. dlyoutube.com/xyz
Put pp after YouTube. youtubepp.com/xyz

There is an option to use Youtube Video downloader as a plugin for your chrome or firefox browser. You can use it to download the video you want.
There is also a tool called IDM (Internet download Manager) to download the video you want.
