You'll get full speed with Rapidshare, the only limitation is your connection speed. I've tried at my university.. manage to achieve more than 500kb with premium account.

I have tried trial premium account in 2 days...

rapidshare premium now hv set the download limits not more than 25GB in 5 days or
5gb per day, Anyway, not only have they taken the download part away, but I was surprised to find out that they have stopped me uploading as well  |

premium account can be very goood
 but buy only if you are a heavy downloader from rapidshare..for me.. i use rapidshare occassionally.. download one part, then flushdns and reboot router for a freship.. and then download second part and so on.. from my experience.. rapidshare is quiet fast on 60.49.*** ip @ Telia server if i am not mistaken. for rest of da ips.. very slow sometimes  Cheerz |

USDownloader isn't really a download accelerator. It's a download manager that is convenient for downloading multiple files just so you won't need to enter verification and wait and then monitor the download progress. USDownloader does that all for you.

Just signed up for Rapidshare.com. Works fine. Did it with NextG and paypal. Just make sure you topup your NextG after getting it. Cause it won't work with paypal and other online purchase without topping it up first.

Yeah, Megaupload, sendspace and a few other file hosting sites are not too hard to get goot speeds and unlimited downloads with a free account. Just use proxies, TOR, rapidleech and loads of other programs and services outh there.
But Rapidshare has the best protection. Tried so many eays also cannot. |

rapidshare.de can be tamed and made our pet with rapidkill ( u need a php based hosting which can be bought at a fraction of rapidshare premium).
Reg, rapidshare.com, it runs on a different code engine and still needs a way to be tackled.. a premium is worth buying in this present scenario. Also take note of rapidsnare.de and rapidshit.com who give backup servers to rapidshare if 5 ppl request a file.. seem like a new server added that better than Telia sonera where i always use before.. Checkout for globalcrossing server.. can reach up to 150 kb and usually minimum dl at 20kb speed..

i used to user rapget to download files from rapidshare without the hassle of wiating an hour for another download and key-in the codes.
lately it's not working, and i have to download the files via website a.k.a the normal way.  i think this prevents rapget to work, as rapget has autobot to key-in the codes. one more thing, sendspace is not that reliable anymore. if you're keeping illegal files, which violate their T&C, they will delete your files in a jiffy. you still have to keep your account though. i've lost about 5GB of files last time, they delete everything without notice. rapidshare is great because they keep you files like forever while other file-hostings would let you keep you files for 2 months at the most. sendspace would keep your files for a long long time even though you have free accounts, in condition that you let your files being download by other users. i've been considering to get a rapidshare premium account. but how to pay ah other than use paypal or cc? i have a maybank account though. i've been using A LOT of rapidshare to download tv shows |

For me i am getting 50-65kbps using their free edition. The downthing is u gotta wait every 61minute before next download.
IMHO, it's much better than Megaupload in terms of free usage. Megaupload no doubt is fast but u need to wait approximately a week then only can download the next one.. |

tried with proxy and agent switcher ..but nothing happens .. as for rapidshare ..yeah i do enjoy the 50-60kB for free dwld's ...but sometimes a bit tedious la to wait and download the next file ...rapget also cannot use anymore now .. megaupload have to wait for a week ah? really ? .. |

Just wanna warn people with Rapidshare Premium Account. Don't use the latest Flashget (IIRC, version 1.8). It will screw your download log in Rapidshare. Even you just downloaded 100 MB, Rapidshare would record more than that, sometimes up to 500 MB. It has happened to me before. I don't know why, but maybe there's a bug in the latest Flashget.
Solution: Use the classic one.. 1.7 something.. it won't happen again. I noticed this when I suddenly got banned from downloading even though I didn't download more than the quota. |

rapidshare is great. i bought 6 months contract, downloaded many stuffs. very easy to share things too. i say just get a premium account rather than try to use the hacks. download speeds will depend mostly on ur end. i've gotten downloaded speeds at 200kbps x 8 files.... sometimes even higher!

yea i am getting my download max speed.. my package streamyx 1mbps i getting 90kb to 105 kb on downloads!
If u smart u get a collectors account upload until 10k points then convert to premium acc. My acc i been doing that for 2 years been free for me for 2 years since .de if someone interested i can share with someone but u muz upload acc expire Feb 2008 if not i wont share. now i know why i usually have a large number of parts/rars corrupted. My connection is too fast, average around 1-1.5 megabyte per sec. The default disk cache in orbit downloader is 1 megabyte. Thus after increasing the cache to 10 megabytes I had zero corrupted rars out of downloaded 6 gigs.

IDM is definitely the fastest and has the most connection AFAIK. Up to 16 simultaneous tasks, and faster than FlashGet, GetRight, DAP, and Orbit. Even running at 16 connections, the scheduler allows your task to run up to 50 tasks iinm at the same time

its been very painful when i already finish 95% and with 5 parts left 2 d/l, suddenly RS go delete the files pulak. so you see how all my hardworking efforts and wasted bandwidth used 2 d/l the games just gone like that! |

i want to share my experience using rapidshare premium account. i used to download files from rapidshare using flashget but if i download so many files at same time, some files will be corrupt. mostly files that split using winrar. so try to find out why this happen and i think because of too much connection using flashget. flasget will separate 1 file to multiple connection so we can download faster and i always set it 10 as it was it maximum. so now i limit about only 5 split per files.

Just wanna know...can we intergrate rapidshare with other downloader than IDM? I'm having problemwith IDM and my premium account. Everytime i paste links and download with IDM, i just get the fles in kb instead of mb. My premium account has no problem because when i try direct download via rapidshare, it is working well. i just used 8gb...then during downloading 8gb files timeouts occured...so i try to resume my download..however failed..when i check my acc back...it stated dat i've downloaded 25gb oledi..i was like wtf...
