Hi,

I will be gone from Malaysia for 6 months and just need a number for the sake of having a number (signing up to my WhatsApp, Kakao and hopefully receiving SMS when I am abroad)

I am sorry if I have missed information that is mentioned on this thread, but it seems to me that the best option for me is Xiddig ? I do not need data roaming since I will be using WiFi most of the time, but seriously, I try to avoid using my phone when I am travelling.

So what do you guys suggest ?

got roaming, but no data roaming

we have xox apps called voopee...if both party install the apps can make free call from/to any country

kit2 .. I know data can be turn off but I never tried roaming as I need roaming. Just double check your settings by logging in again.

Go to Celcom, ask to port out, then go to the other telco I want to port in to and request to port in?

i thought you want to change from celcom postpaid to celcom prepaid. haha. if want change to hotlink prepaid. just go to maxis centre ask to MNP(port in to hotlink prepaid)..
