Actually adi increased price due to currency weakness. Earlier this year it was around 900+-.

According to previous PS3 pricing, they never going up, just keep going down or maintained to the same pricing.

The weakening of myr also not totally a true effect la, I saw actual electronic product keep lowering pricing, despite some price hike, maybe just for one month period.
Well, only Apple product never discount, other brand, just keep lowering price.

Maybe, next year Sony release a "Slim" version for PS4, challenging Xbox One pricing.
