actually sejarah melayu and hikayat hang tuah is just a story book or real history record?

how can the historian put a fable in the sejarah melayu if it is a history record?

i tot malaysian got jawi learning, how the researcher fail to read jawi? if he can not understand jawi he can still get a jawi teacher or someone to translate it? macam mana so many years baru ppl tau dia salah baca jawi?
