I've been trying to apply for some new credit cards, especially the Maybank 2 Platinum Cards, but I've been rejected by all the banks I've applied to so far.

I have 3 credit cards (UOB One Card, HLB Wise, Aeon Credit Card) with total credit limit of RM34,000.

I have 2 joint housing loans, with my portion being RM425,000 and a car loan of RM25,000.

With a monthly income of RM10k, I am not eligible for new cards?

After being rejected, how soon can I apply for new cards again? I'm interested in trying what GenX is recommending in his blog, but not a single bank has approved my new card applications.

Some banks practise to use DSR to check whether the applicant is eligible to get the credit card from bank.
The more debt u have , the chance u got rejected is higher.

usually 6 months but you may try your luck again earlier if you are confident that it's a mistake that you got rejected.

What do you means by mistake? some bank do inform applicant if the credit card application rejected due to insuficient document and request to submit document again.
Bank will reject credit card application due to many reason like insufficient document or the application no pass the some factor when bank consider for credit card application like DSR.

No. It's illegal to do it. You will be caught for fraud case.
I thought there are many junior savings these days, they don't offer debit cards?

With permission also considered fraud?
For some reason, I don't want to open any new accounts. (Dont ask)

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 6 2016, 04:28 AM)
No. Only real cardholders can use their own cards, no such thing as with permission given.
*
I agreed that even u have the permission from the card holder to swipe the cc.
It is still considered not legal.

But, there are many ppl doing it and some more keep argue it is LEGAL to do that and make other ppl confuse.

Hi...would like to ask to all the sifus..
I'm planning to apply for a 2nd credit card (CIMB Cash Rebate as I mostly do online shopping. Interested in the CB offer. Right now using MBB Petronas Ikhwan) at the same time wants to apply for a personal loan of 5k..

Would be it be ok to do both at the same time or do 1 of each first. If the latter, which one should i apply first?
