QUOTE(taza @ Dec 10 2015, 07:32 PM) need help from all sifus's.. Make sure your coil is right on top of your air flow with better aerodynamics. Higher coil on top of air flow will have less restrictions. Watch the space though.it seems my bellus with evic vtc mini.. getting hot?why scared it might blowup ... If your coil is bigger than air flow, increased heat is normal. More wire also increases the heat generated. |

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Dec 11 2015, 11:09 AM) anyone using Bellus tank? seems that I always get rough throat hit with it especially with creamy flavor like Octobrew or Pink. Dual coil means double the vapor production. Everything is doubled (including throat hit).i'm on dual-coil with 2.5mm (8 wraps each) on 26 awg which makes around 0.45 ohm. even if i reduce my wattage to 16, it always give harsh throat hit. this is my first time with dual coil as previously (and still using it) i'm on kayfun lite single coil setup. |

Tank and coil build also affects the flavor production. Try vertical coil if you want more flavor.

QUOTE(andyng38 @ Dec 14 2015, 10:45 PM) Unfortunately the concept of "work for it" may be totally foreign and incomprehensible to some quarters. It may even be construed as an attack on the sanctity of certain "rights", and an affront to the dignity and superiority of the powers-that-be. "Work for it" is pretty much self-explanatory. There is so many income from other sources if they work harder. Double parking is one of the examples. At this juncture, I strongly feel the need to display an emoticon/smiley which has the middle digit of one hand extended in salute to them, but this forum seems to sadly lack that feature. |

QUOTE(stix @ Dec 14 2015, 11:23 PM) DIY masters, if i want to increase the strength of the flavour, do i increase the percentage of all the flavours? Lets say i have three flavours mixed to a nice ratio and i love the taste but i felt that the flavour seems 'weak'. Will increasing all flavours & mess up the taste? All your essence needs to have equal percentage of increase to maintain same taste. Example:Original: Apple pie 20% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: 10% Boosted: Apple Pie 22% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: 11% Increasing Propylene Glycol (PG) also helps. PG is the flavor carrier. QUOTE(stix @ Dec 15 2015, 01:27 AM) Thanks mate. I guess it means if i add 10 percent to the 20% of apple pie, the same goes to the vbic. Yes. Adding PG is another option. PG also increases throat hit. Also, steeping also helps with the flavor. Recommended steeping for fruity is at least 5 days and creamy is at least 2 weeks. QUOTE(andyng38 @ Dec 15 2015, 01:31 AM) Some flavors were never meant to be very distinct and pronounced, and work better as a "background" flavor. I put 2 drops of vodka on my Mojito e-juiceSome flavors (esp fruity ones) can be made to "pop" more with the addition of a bit of citric acid. Often ignored is a touch of saline solution which can help bakery flavors a lot, and a touch of apple cider vinegar can help tame some harshness so that other flavors can appear more distinct. Experiment! This post has been edited by TristanX: Dec 15 2015, 08:29 AM |

QUOTE(stix @ Dec 15 2015, 10:32 AM) Coming from US juices, i cant help but to find DIY juices a lil ... well, missing. I just cant get that strong taste even with my attempt of cloning the top juices in e-recipe website. Perhaps real premium juice brewers have secrets up their sleeves. Yup, US juices has some secrets. Steeping with oak barrel and homebrew ingredients. You can get close to the US flavor, not 100%.QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Dec 15 2015, 10:24 AM) nope, more flavoring is an overkill, it will ended up muting ur overall mix. From my experience, more PG is recommended for higher amount of essence. Certain flavor hurts more than improving if too strong though.go with moderation. mixing eliquid is like baking, flavors complementing each other. go to e-liquid-recipes.com, study all the mixes uploaded there. if u look carefully, some multiple flavorings in a recipe goes way beyond 20% while most of them are below 20%. less is more, try to maintain your mixes below 15% and learn the concept of main and supporting flavors. read more bro.. QUOTE(duke_hunt @ Dec 15 2015, 11:01 AM) it does help but come to think about it, how does US liquid managed to give good flavors at 70% and 80% vg with only 20% - 30% pg based flavorings.. It's either the concentration of the flavor or the homebrew ingredients. They might also found a way to carry the flavor without relying on PG. I got Smax Mafia Princess and the flavor is lovely at 90% VG. its not just having to add more pg to the mixes, its the overall mixes which includes the type of nic base used, pg or vg.. Don't forget we are relying on flavorings that is made for food. |

QUOTE(Hamsom @ Dec 16 2015, 01:40 PM) andyng38 im willing to give the gudang garam a go if you provide test bottles . 5ml would be good. Does it leave heavy gunk? Try Halo Tribeca 6mg. It hits harder than most 12mg juices.I've tried a few. Forgot whats my local fav. I wouldn't say its great but its alright. By Steady Vapors i think. Tobacco taste. For US, not hitting Sammie Puffs. Chocolaty but does contain my Dunhill Reds craving. All on 6mgs. 12mgs are just crazy. |

For some reason it is extremely strong for 6mg.First and last of my 12mg. Not for me. Or any 6mg that is stronger than 12mg. But ill try Halo Tribeca once im done with Sammie. Thanks for the recommendation. |
