bro, watch thru the video review on the rulo dna & rx200. perhaps the power chart and tc chart would interest u more.

from wat he did, pretty decent u think?? probably a hit or miss case for any device that we get hmm.gif

he actually fried the 1st unit on stress test but 2nd unit was ok lol.
*
My RX just jumped out of TC mode twice. POS.
What version is your D2? V3.0? Try it in TC mode at 500F. See how hot it is. At 600F in the RX its not hot - thats because its under firing.
As for the "Temp protect" issues, I cooled the atty in aircon room before setting the resistance in the RX. I read on Joyetech forum that Evic Mini users were cooling their attys in the fridge to overcome temp protect issues.

budakdegilz

I'm a fan of things that work. Not junk.
I've used Joyetech in the past. Owned 2 of the original Joyetech Evic. Lots of functions but underfiring. Wismec has to fix all the issues in the RX200 for it to be a good mod.

well lets hope the firmware can fix the issues...i think maybe, just maybe some of the issues are not experienced by the majority thats y they don address or patch it.
the best i think is still fire the same atty with same setup on 2 different devices will tell u a more accurate feel haha.
i havent touch tc mode for a long time d ever since i got the rx, power mode would do jz fine for me hehe
*
I was fully on Kanthal. I bought the RX to play with for a while, then sell it. That why I tested all the modes in it. Can't sell it if its not fully functioning.

The D2 V2.0 had issues with TC as well. If resistance was set at normal room temp then you go to a cold room, you'd get a burnt taste the first puff or two till it warmed up. It was also under firing. The V3.0 fixed it.
Even then the D2 V2.0 functions better than my RX.

actually, can u enlighten me on why is it necessary to lock resistance?? what is the difference if i don lock it??

shit all my atty's are full currently tabuli tukar coil lagi...i oso wan to see if i have this problem as well hmm.gif
*
Problem with RX calibration. It hits "Temp Protect" and stops firing. Sometimes instantly when you fire it. So I cool the atty below room temperature then lock the resistance in.

you just have to put faith in wismec
because TCR setting mode is coming soon to joyetech chips  biggrin.gif

with the price way way cheaper than over hype yihi and DNA tcr setting capable mod
i take joyetech with a flaw
at least they try to satisfied their customer problems by given them after service(firmware upgrade)
and with ipvd2 2.0 > ipvd2 3.0 > ipvd3
you have to fork out extra money to buy each version

p/s:
then again it's depend on wismec to provide an after service
it's not hardware problems(joyetech chip)
it's the mod manufacturer problem
biggrin.gif
*
You must be fcking kidding when you say you'll take Joyetech with a flaw? You own an RX200? You know what the flaw is?
You can't vape when it cuts off after a second and goes to "temp protect". I'm not the only one having this problem. So you can't say its just my mod.

I've owned every version of the D2. Every one works. None jumped out of TC mode unlike Joyetechs.

You're making it seem that Wismec & Joyetech are different companies. FYI - Joyetech is said to be the owner of Wismec.

OBS Crius. I have almost every UD tank. I prefer the Crius. Even better if you're a beginner because the Crius is extremely user friendly.

*
I have the Bellus as well. The Crius has more airflow. Easier to refill. Amazing flavor. Easy to wick - just stuff cotton into the slots. Has juice flow control. Turn off and it won't leak at all. Just put in a coil - as sloppy as you like, it'll still perform great. Buy it with no regrets.

haha..
that's why u have to put faith in wismec
maybe because of you owns several of non upgradeable mod by pioneer4u(sister company of yihi)
you forgot how to use usb cable for upgrade??

p/s:
and yup when you using a difference type of wire
in their Ni200, Ti and SS temp control mode
they will jump out of TC to power mode
you sure u are not using kanthal for TC? biggrin.gif
it's adviseable to get the new batch
the one comes with grey, red and gold colour
to avoid lemon unit just like JimL got
thumbup.gif

Lol! You're a real big time happytetek fanboy. Why don't you ask Vail how much "FUN" he's having with his RX200. So are you saying that Vail and me both got lemon units? What about the other people that also have problems with their RX? Also lemon unit? Maybe Joyetech exclusively make lemon units!

Lose the fanboism lah. Call crap for what it is.
A mod can have every damn feature but if it doesn't work, whats the use? And don't believe everything a Youtube reviewer tells you. Test it for yourself. If every girls tells you she's a virgin are you gonna believe it? Lol!

I had a dry hit last night. Very surprised. Pulled the topcap off my RDA and fired it - the cotton burst into flames. I removed the cotton and fired it - screen said "Temp Protection" but my coil glowed red.

I like the Jay Bo design but the current 'Happytetek' chip is crap. Too rushed into production when they ran out of Evolv chips. I will sell my unit. Maybe buy again later when everything is fixed.

why you hate a fanboyish syndrome??
i only appreciate them as they constantly provide a well done after service

come sell it to me
i will pay 80 bucks
and for used item (including a saliva from previous owner)
75% for non lemon unit = 0.75x160 = 120
50% for your lemon unit = 0.5x160 = 80

Why sell at low price when I can sell at higher price to noob Joyetech/Wismec/Happytetek fanbois?
Hell, I'll order batts from joenida to include in. Dem Joyetech/Wismec/Happytetek fanbois will be happier than a paedophile in a kindergarten! Lolol!

Hi.. Doing fine. Kinda busy lately. Tq for asking. Nothing new but thinking of getting Pico RTA or u got other nicer RTA to recommend?
*
GeekVape Griffin RTA. Crius on steroids. Somebody here told Joenida to stock it already.
http://www.geekvape.com/project/griffin-2/

I just ordered a Haze tank to play with. Haven't received it yet. The Pico looks cute but airflow is going to be restrictive.

sifu pls correct me if i am wrong yea.

TC is meant to regulate temp by restricting the temp pass the preset amount. and wires like Ti Ni and SS needs to be regulated carefully to prevent forming harmful compounds or snapping. oh and also their resistance change according to temperature.

kanthal and nichrome's resistance change is very minimal tc wont detect it so the temp control function is useless in this 2. i solely use TC on my nichrome is so i can alter the wattage since D2's power mode is stupid...

Vaping at low wattage is for pussies! Clouds bro clouds.

At 200W the cotton burst into flames almost instantly. Don't even know how people get the cotton wet enough to vape at 200W.

You tested yours?

Whenever I get a mod, I'd test everything and push it to the max. How come you don't do that?
Hands not itchy meh?

update me when u tried 200w firing  tongue.gif
*
Already tested firing it at 200W. But if I had wanted to try vaping it at 200W, I'd build coils differently. Use an RDA with lots more air flow.

I have tried to build 2 parallel coils using nichrome. I tried dry hitting it to see if both are firing at the same rate. No matter what I do, one glows faster than the other. What will be the problem or solution here?

Will it affect anything? Please help.
*
Strum the coils. If you have a ceramic tweezer, clamp the coil as you fire till it fires evenly. Fire it, stop firing then clamp the coil if you're using normal tweezer or pliers.
Look for Youtube videos on it.

JimL jimbo, snapdragon or indestructible for flavor???

The name's Jim.

The Indestructible is right up your alley. Can cloudsbro with it.
I like my Snapdragon but I'd prefer more airflow in it. So I'll get a bellcap for it and drill some holes in it. The airflow might be ok for you though. What I like about it? Real easy to use and it doesn't leak at all.

Why don't you try an Aeolus? Its the most favoured RDA for flavor among FT regulars.

The deck were originally from velocity. Then some tanks adopted it, includes crius. Groffin also using the velocity deck but bigger deck.

It doesnt leak at all on my griffin for first trial. Because the deck is big, it just leave a thin layer of juice between the deck chamber and the glass tank, hence juice does not overflow.. Clever design
*
The four holes on the 2 posts came from the Velocity. Lots of atomizers already had 2 posts albeit with 2 holes in it.

The Griffin is based on the Crius. But with a larger deck and more airflow. They should have also copied the 2 in 1 airflow/juiceflow control of the Crius. Would have made the tank shorter. Maybe GeekVape weren't thick skinned enough to copy that. Lol.

Hows the build quality of the Griffin? The QC on the Crius is not good - lots had cracked insulators including mine.
What watts are you firing the Griffin at? With a smaller deck/chamber I get a good vape at 30W in the Crius.
I'll probably wait for the black Griffin.
