dunno why since yesterday till today, when i recoil i always got imbalance heat on both coils.. one heat up faster than the other.. really a hassle, recoil many times.. the coil diameter suppose to be similar as i used coil jig.. this morning i was working with my coil since 10am until 12noon! finally got it glow quite evenly, but still not that perfect imo.. luckily on holiday, if during working days how am i gonna live like this? to make it worst, losing juices becoz of recoiling works.. now missing my uwell crown, less hassle on single coil..

QUOTE(gnomemaster @ Dec 31 2015, 12:45 PM) Make sure u have even wraps, retighten ur post as sometimes the legs are not screwed properly to make full contact with post, happen to me before. wraps are even and tight, but maybe bcoz of the screw, the screw heads are kinda abused already (thats just for after few days usage) really dislike the hexagon screw.. another thing is that the clapton wire, maybe when i thighten the wrap, the outer wire got pulled which may results on uneven lenght of the outer wire.. i really need more practice on thisQUOTE(TristanX @ Dec 31 2015, 12:47 PM) The coil leg needs to be same. How did you waste juice on recoiling? You only need to dry burn testing your coil. becoz i recoil many times since yesterday.. even after i think its done, cotton up and refill tank, then i kinda curious so i recheck coils, only to find it back to heat up unevenly, then recoils.. apart of that, almost ran out of clapton coils which i just bought several days ago (and its blardy expensive).. now i think its ok already.. hope this can serve me for several days..out of all, my personal problem is that i tend to be perfectionist.. i want to ensure coil and wick done beautifully (yes i really mean beautifully).. hence it took me long time to fiddle things.. finger also hurts already doing this thing my money ran like no tomorrow since i play with this vape things |

QUOTE(gnomemaster @ Dec 31 2015, 01:37 PM) Tight is not everything. Its best if wires are sandwiched in between the screw base and post contact. And make sure 2 wires r not stacked on top of each other, i had that my wires are not heating evenly. thanks for the tips, that could possible the issues as i do not pay attention on that |

QUOTE(grandpa @ Jan 1 2016, 10:07 AM) With all the problems that you are having : damaged screw heads and un-even firing, I think I know what causes your problems. hmm that might be true.. but if not really tight, the legs may move when i adjust the coils.. yeah i still need practice on this Simply this : You are over-tightening your screws to the extent that the heads get damaged. Also over tightening the screws can cut your coil wires especially when you use twisted or clapton coils. anyway, where can i buy spare screws (hexagon and philip) and the o-rings? any shop around cheras? |

QUOTE(JimL @ Jan 1 2016, 08:57 PM) Its NOT supposed to jump into power mode at all. If it jumps to power mode when using Ti or Ni wires, it'll fry the wires and release toxic shit. bro, maybe u pulse vape 3 times so it shifted mode?.. All the cases of flames shooting out the drip tip in Joyetech mods was because it jumped into power mode while on Ti/Ni wires. Enough of your fanboism already. Get in in your head. A mod that jumps out of TC mode into power mode is dangerous to users. This post has been edited by hallucinogen: Jan 1 2016, 09:20 PM |
