Buying house is an individual choice. Though all the places mentioned above offer good alternatives, we buy house to make a home. We would like to live a in a place that comfortable, convenience and familiar to us.

Not necessarily need to buy house near city center or our workplace. We may change work and retire one day, but we want to spend our post retirement days in a place we we feel wanted, surrounded by people that we knows.

You can buy in a place where you like, and it is nobody’s business on how much you fork out for the house. The only thing, you may find the capital appreciation is not as high as other place and a bit difficult to dispose the property but who cares as long can afford it.

rilek boss, i believe everyone who bought this place including me know the distance to KL, not that they bought it blindly. I am sure they have their own preference why they choose this place. chill ya

Where got cat lah, cat no need license. Dog have to license, that's where the mafan nonsense things all come out. You can interview dog owners in housing under MBSA. My own relative had to get consent letter from neighbour. Just absolutely the most leceh thing. You can check out the Lowyat threads also, a lot of them talk about this.

For me personally I have never encountered a problem with Muslim neighbours. I would not bring that into the equation, as you would have Muslim neighbours who don't mind at all, and you have non-Muslim neighbours out to make your pet's life hell. People are different everywhere. Of course we have to be understanding, if it's a majority Muslim neighbourhood, it's just not civic-minded to have a dog in such an area.

For me the consent letter infringes on owner's right, the property owner should have some rights to keep an animal within the compound.

The purpose of a dog license should be to ensure the animal is not a health risk, i.e. they are properly vaccinated against diseases that might harm humans/ other animals, rabies for example. The rule to have only one or two for certain house types, is also good. Otherwise people will have 50 toy poodles in one house, which is abuse already.

I support licensing dogs 100%, it's just the way some councils overdo the rules and make it not about the animal.
