SELANGOR (Nov 12): KLK Land Sdn Bhd, the property arm of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KL:KLK), has secured a slate of anchor tenants for its upcoming Coalfields Retail Park in Bandar Seri Coalfields, Sungai Buloh, with the development on track to open by the end of the second quarter in 2026.

Confirmed tenants include Village Grocer, HarborLand, Skechers’ largest store in Southeast Asia, Decathlon, Harvey Norman, Maybank and Serai Seafood Restaurant. Other names set to open at the site include The Social, Lisette’s Café & Bakery, Lavender Bakery, K Fry, Super Saigon, Blue Ice Skating Rink, Panda Eyes, Pickle Park and KKV.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, KLK Land managing director Lee Wen Ling said the tenant milestone brings the development a step closer to realising its vision as a community destination.


“With the arrival of our key tenants, we are one step closer to realising our vision for Coalfields Retail Park as a meaningful retail and social destination that serves the community, fosters connection and brings people together,” she said.

The mall is part of KLK Land’s broader plan to transform Bandar Seri Coalfields into a sustainable township serving the Greater North Klang Valley.

Occupying a gross built-up area of one million sq ft, the hybrid lifestyle mall will comprise 135 retail lots and 925 parking bays. It is expected to draw over five million annual visitors from residential zones within a 20- to 30-minute drive radius.

The retail park features a hybrid indoor-outdoor layout and will be directly linked to a seven-acre lake park.

Strategically located within the Rawang-Puncak Alam-Sungai Buloh-Ijok-Kuala Selangor corridor, the development is designed to serve as a new regional centre for commerce and leisure.

Coalfields Retail Park has also been provisionally awarded the GreenRE Gold Certification under the Non-Residential Building category.

KLK Land earlier this year announced its education partnership with Kuen Cheng Holistic Education Bhd, which will add to an integrated education zone in Bandar Seri Coalfields that includes Wesley Methodist Private School and the upcoming SJK © Lee Loy Seng.

PETALING JAYA (Nov 12): KLK Land today announced that it has secured key tenants for its upcoming Coalfields Retail Park at Bandar Seri Coalfields (BSC) in Sungai Buloh, reaffirming the project’s progress towards its targeted opening by end-2Q2026.

Coalfields Retail Park is envisioned as part of KLK Land’s long-term plan to transform Bandar Seri Coalfields into a vibrant, sustainable township.

The hybrid lifestyle mall will feature a curated tenant mix spanning groceries, lifestyle, dining, wellness and entertainment.

According to a media release today by KLK Land, among the confirmed tenants are Village Grocer, HarborLand (one of the largest international indoor playgrounds), Skechers (South East Asia’s largest store), Serai Seafood Restaurant, Blue Ice Skating Rink, KKV, Decathlon, Panda Eyes, Pickle Park, Harvey Norman and Maybank. Other notable tenants include The Social, Lisette’s Café & Bakery, K Fry, Lavender Bakery and Super Saigon.

Strategically located within the corridor connecting Rawang, Puncak Alam, Sungai Buloh, Ijok, and Kuala Selangor, Coalfields Retail Park will occupy approximately 1 million sq ft of gross built-up area with 135 retail lots.

There will also be 925 parking bays within the development.

The retail park will cater to rapidly expanding residential neighbourhoods within a 20- to 30-minute radius. It is expected to attract over five million visitors annually, creating local employment opportunities and stimulating economic activity in the surrounding areas.

Coalfields Retail Park has recently been awarded a GreenRE Gold Certification (Provisional) under the GreenRE Non-Residential Building category, recognising its strong commitment to environmentally responsible design and sustainable development practices.

“Coalfields Retail Park is envisioned as more than a shopping destination—it is a dynamic lifestyle,” added Lee. “It reflects KLK Land’s long-term commitment to creating sustainable, liveable townships that bring enduring value to communities we serve.”
