V model is a software developoment model which build quality assessment(ensure the quality in IS development) and control into the development process. V-model is emphasis on testing.
The left hand side of the v model shows the stages of IS development while the right hand side of the v model shows the corresponding tests for each stage.

V-model is alrady believe that maintenance cost of IS is MORE expensive than development cost so it is better to ensure that zero defect and do it right the 1st time..

Basically thats it!!
Then the elements of V-model.. Study urself then.... lol

kaplan textbook, it is in chapter 13.
you have to know we have exposure draft on framework. supposedly the framework has already becomes outdated, where ifrs reflects current changes but framework is not, so iasb n fasb r reviewing n updating the framework on qualitative characteristic n measurement of element in f/s. you should read something regarding to preliminary view. im not sure it is updated in textbook, but u can find it on-line perhaps. it outlines the changes. by lecturer gave me article by richard gore. i dunno where she gets it from, but its a summary about it.

dont give up. i dont study much either. just focus q1 first ok. u know group will come out and you know that theory on ethics will come out.

the rest. focus on the ias n ifrs std that u already very well know with. lick ias39 if possible. i heard it will be tested through out the entire paper piece by piece.

my lecturer said, in p2, you must know std, so you memorised std. in exam just quote std, than do application. if application/calculation is wrong, u will be awarded on your knowledge on std. this is not 2.5 where they want to be technically sound.

the rest leave it to god.
