If you're a real movie fan, most of the time, better to go and watch alone; you could concentrate on the movie 100% .... no need to glance sideways if your friends keep fidgeting around if he/she doesn't enjoy the film, etc. etc. etc. ; unless you've watch it before, alone.

If you must go to cinema with others, you're just treating it as normal social events ... why you worried ticket sellers or usherers will look at you one kind and think, pity no frens? Glare at them back lar, tell them with your eyes, I enjoy my solitude times, choi meh?

I used to work at GSC part-time, often see Pak A. Samad Said buying tickets alone, only once saw him with his wife ... if real important people couldn't care shit about how others see them, ... why should you?
