The charger for iphone if not mistaken is only 1A output
Ipad charger cn provide 2A output, so technically the charging speed almost double

Changing the battery does not void the touch ID. The person who helped you to change the battery must have done a terrible job when removing the front screen

I dont think the prices will come down to a sensible level. APR centres here in Malaysia will not repair the screen, they will only offer to change the whole set to refurbished.

I used the Samsung S7E and I find that Samsung has caught up with iPhone already.
Gone are the days where "iPhone is so much faster than Samsung" or "Samsung so lag compared to iPhone".

After 1 year do factory reset and the phone become buttery
No comment on the newer Samsung phones slowing down after 1 year as I no experience with the new Samsung phones for 1 year

It is not uneven screen. It is the curved sides of the screen are more curved than standard iPhone screen.
iPhone screen are supplied by different suppliers, where some suppliers seem to have slight different curve tolerances on the side.
This cause the sides of any screen protector to be unable to stick on the screen properly / sides have halo effect, as screen protectors are tailored for the standard screen curve tolerance.

This problem has already persisted since iPhone 6/6 Plus days.
In terms of warranty, I dont think they will entertain, as technically this is not a defect and does not hinder the function / aesthetics of the iPhone. Apple is not obligated to cater their phones to be compatible with 3rd party accessories / screen protector, unless the accessory came from Apple themselves.

Of course you could try your luck and claim warranty, who knows they might accept but I wouldnt have high hopes.

Yes. If not mistaken since January 2016 (forgot which date), all iPhone warranty claims should go back to authorised service providers (Mac City, Machines, etc).

This is a common issue since the iPhone 6 days
So meaning any tempered glass or screen protector you apply will have the sides not sticking properly

Do check whether it is the touch disease or screen issue. If touch disease, replacing the screen will not solve it. You can PM Wimpykid for help on the touch disease issue
