Err try youtube videos? Watch closely, talk to friends who have been working out for a long while. I reckon that's the best way to learn.

doesnt matter if theyre in the same club or not la. They can just advise you anyway. you don't have to be in a gym to get pointers and such.

You don't have to pay to ask how to use the equipment... you only pay if you ask them to create a training program for you.

since you asked for it lol, youtube

how to bench press
how to deadlift
how to squat
how to overhead press

since you're a beginner, you should be able to do all these together for a complete full body workout (for few months). If you're having issue to even move the bar without the plates, start with body weight ex. pushups, pike push ups etc. once the weight gets too heavy and taxing to do all in 1 day, you can start doing splits (again google either bro split or etc).

Try looking for youtube videos and try learn from there. Learn the the fundamentals such as Bench Press, Overhead Press, Squat and Deadlift. Learn the conventional ones first.

Once you are good with the form, pick a training program which incorporate these 4 exercises. follow the programme no matter what. do not tweak the program.

Once you have build a relatively solid foundation (good form and strength), then you may begin to tweak the program to suit your goals.
