Hi guys, I've purchased this monitor from a seller online with the specifications provided that this monitor has G-Sync.

Since I'm a Malaysian, I refer to Acer Malaysia's official website for the specification of this monitor. And yes, the website states that the monitor has G-Sync (which is incorrect) and I've purchased it based on this piece of information.

Acer Malaysia's Official Website link for Acer XB240H

A few weeks or months later I realized that Acer XB240H has no G-Sync when I stumbled upon a conversation (Q&A) between a seller and a buyer. The information on the website has been corrected as some retailers has contacted them about this issue.

The problem is, I have already purchased this monitor and I'm currently asking the seller for a refund. If I could convince the seller to allow me to buy another monitor from him which comes with G-Sync and return this one, should I do that?

I want to know whether is it worth it to upgrade to a G-Sync enabled monitor on a 1080p resolution? Should I get the Acer XB240H ABPR 144Hz 24.0" Monitor if it is available in my country? I would also like to know whether I am entitled to a refund in this case. It's been more than 2 months since I bought the monitor, please advise!

Yes gsync is worth it.

That monitor is not worth it.

Going forward 1440p 144hz is the gaming standard now for high end
Problem is u dont have enough gpu/cpu power for it.

Is it possible for me to get a full refund or exchange of product? I've never been involved in this kind of issue.
I bought it off 11street.

doubt it but u can always ask ure seller. but they are just warehousers that order based on distro stock...

basically u were enticed by the web design without checking their paid up capital etc...

again i remind you .. you dont have the cpu/gpu power for 1440p atm.

This whole thing is a mistake by Acer Malaysia.
I will be going for the Acer XB240H ABPR which is the 24" 1080p with G sync. It's rm100 more expensive only.
But I can only get that if they are willing to refund or exchange it with me.
