jz share my exp:-

before i entered scope,
1. job offer from ex-coll - RM 3K for R&D department
2. job offer from MNC company for Java programmer - RM 3K.
3. job offer from local company as AP - RM 2.5k
4. If i continue my freelance job, I got RM 700~1500 for every week.

after think & think & think...& compare & compare & compare..
I took risk n joined Scope ...& my salary is 30%~50% lower..
maybe u will think i m dumb * stupid.

Noone will satisfy for their current salary.. bcos more $$ more spend..
However, feel under pay after

1. got job offer from oversea company - S$3.5K
2. got job offer from local companies - RM 3.2~ 4K
3. i can join any of the previous companies', which gave offer before joined scope... & pay will be more than offered at that time.

what to do.. can't chao bcos of 2 yrs born..
i can't deny that scope was a good company... good ppl, good working environment....bla bla bla..
But, the increment is really low n out of our expectation... dun know why... maybe i m greddy or what..

I took my risk at 1st place.. r u ?
*what u gain at one side = what u loss at another side.
*ISCM is stand for International Software Center Malaysia.. It is not International Stan Chart Malaysia.

hey, a lot of scope staffs are reading lowyat... bcareful o especially new joiner...

it is common for new staff to sit for a while as u r still not familiar with the process and system knowledge...

if u got time, u may try to read their function spec/tech spec/user manual

well, time to go off d, and get stuck at MA junction... haha...

haha, then how they evaluate us??
*
normally u need to fill up JO [once a year], and discuss with ur boss.. then ur boss will rate u, and reveal to you after u knew ur increment/bonus... if good boss, then he/she will let u know before that.

I just got offer from ISCM department as a graduate trainee. Can any current/ex employee from this department share their working experience here?

I read posts saying that we are expected to work day/night... 20 hrs per day..

What do you guys think about ISCM department?
*
not necessary to work 20 hours...
most tiring tasks are PSS... my boss told me b4: if daytime PSS/team member did well, then PSS dun need to suffer a lot... anyway, it is team work... try ur best... nothing is easy especially when u r being paid for it... happy cny.

By any chance you're an ex-ISCM as well? The acronym CTF is replaced with GTM many years back and where work is concern, the load will never shrink..

let's put it this way.. iTEC source & find the necessary skill sets, in this case.. the demand for Graduate Trainee re-initiated.

You being the selected future employee/GT deals directly with iTEC, they hold your paycheck, leave administration, etc (what ever CLAUSE stated in your offer letter). You will then be assigned generally first to the respective department to learn the ropes. By then, it's a ramp-up learning session for you to buck-up and be productive asap. If you have fulfill the necessary criteria set by SCOPE HR, you will be offer a permanent position under SCOPE HR paycheck.

Let's put it in a different perspective, working in SCOPE be it ISCM or IT-365 is challenging to a degree. If you are tough lad and persevere through the obstacles, i am confident the rewards are abundance awaiting. The weak will be left behind and the strong will triumph, overall SCOPE working environment is not that different from other big employers like Accenture or Citigroup.

Crack under pressure or triumph !!

strongly agreed with +iny_po+a+o on the "contract vs perm" section.
