Can anyone reccomend manga that have deep storyline example yume de atara

The best way to find your 'next manga' is to find other manga titles by the same author/mangaka, e.g if you like yume de atara, you'd probably like orange yane no chiisana ie. Of course there are exceptions for e.g when the author/mangaka went in a different direction (Love Hina vs Negima or Black Cat vs To Love Ru) but most of the time I find out that if I like the author's previous manga then there's a good chance that I'd like his other series

edit: oh and try Jiro Matsumoto (Freesia, Tropical Citron) for some brainf*** storylines, other mangas: Eden: It's an endless world!, Sundome, and Kurozuka -all are NSFW tongue.gif

for now im reading manga by randoming select titles..
oh ya by the way im downloading all manga trough my iphone apps.. icon_rolleyes.gif

for me it's not so random, first thing I wanna see is great artwork (e.g Hiroaki Samura, Eiichiro Oda, Ken Akamatsu) then, if the story is epic (think Lone Wolf and Cub, Vagabond, One Piece) enough, I'm hooked, the random clicking thingy I usually do in 'mature' sections on scanlation sites biggrin.gif

Vagabond? Lone Wolf and Cub? anything from Kaoru Mori, I'm currently following Otoyomegatari -not exactly a lot of realism, these are mangas, but IMO close enough

Little mecha not like tenpa langa gulen (dont know the speeling)
can't stand this genre, but I guess Pluto qualifies for this? rolleyes.gif

Kurohime - actiona maxima

Is now completed -after 80ish chapters. Mangaka: Katakura Masanori

My opinion (after a two-day marathon, may need to revise):

Stumbled upon: Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru -shounen, action, sport. Interesting insight into (modern) Japanese martial arts esp. karate. Clean artwork, but nothing remarkable. Should not be confused with HSD Kenichi. Ongoing (100+ chapters).
Mangaka: Baba Yasushi

@katsumoto2011 negima! is borderline 18+ (and deserve a higher rating, better than Love Hina IMO); Nana to Kaoru is borderline hentai; vagabond is 18+ and so too are otoyomegatari and suzuka

currently reading: 20th Century Boys
