u can always check from Baka Updates Manga.. google it, plenty of genres there =D

and most from my "*extreme* Gore/Brutal/Abnormal/Fantasy..just plain weird" list are seinen's

And for detective like story(+supernatural), maybe u can try Psychometrer Eiji & Shibatora. Same mangaka. Shibatora is the latest and just ended few months ago =D

Alive (single vol) (Horror, Psychological)
Freesia (Action, Psychological)
Hoshi no Koe (sci-fi, romance)
Inugami (Adventure, Fantasy, Psychological)
Kurosagi Corpse Delivery (Mystery, Psychological)
Maken X Another (Psychological, Sci-fi, Supernatural)
==================================

enjoyed kiseijuu too; although the final battle a bit on the lame side. wish it would explore deeper issues more, as well as make the kiseijuus more sympathetic.

basilisk is.... for a lack of better word.. shallow.

lol, watever la.. as long as it's a manga, i'll be enjoying anyway.
