Anyone of u applied tempered glass SP on this phone? Do the sides/edges of ur tempered glass SP list up) I bought a tempered glass SP from Huawei itself, the edges of the SP slight lift up. If urs dont have this problem, mind to share what brand of SP u bought? it's even better if u could share the item link here

Why u guys not happy with the pre installed SP? I find it quite good though honestly I hate to use any SP on the phone.

I had this with my s6edge. Drove me crazy. I kept whatsapping myself using my wifes phone every 5-10 mins.

Eventually sold it because of this problem and got a n5.

Im on digi. At first i blamed digi's poor coverage but seems to be phone itself.

its not delay its because the battery manager block it.usuallly the battery manager will force it to closed and stop it from running background.

yup if tu click closed the battery manager will prevent it from running background. for example usually battery manager will send notification " intensive power apps is running background,do you want to close it?" just ingnore this notification and let wassup running background.

The 2k price tag doesnt mean the hardware is lousier than the other premium phones. Can say this is a premium phone with reasonable price, the others are over priced.

To be honest, if i didnt get the 1st pre-order of samsung s7e, i wouldnt ever consider getting it at the price of 3099..

I'm having the same issue... I hate the swype keyboard layout...

1) the "CTRL" button...
2) The "SHIFT" button... I always accidentally press that... and the letter turn out to be caps
3) Small "Space bar" button... I've expand this... less typo error now

but the main issue still shift... I wonder is there any keyboard we can change...

No more such issue with firmware b168 ( china) n b170 msian

Both my China (b168) n Msian (b170) had zero issues on WA notifications. This problem was an intermittent issue on earlier firmwares. Did you set WA as a protected app in settings/.../battery manager?
Anyway most users at XDA had positively reported WA is no longer a problem on latest firmware. However they are still a minority group such as you reporting problems on notification

try reset to factory default

actually the official firmware can flash in TWRP, just copy the update.zip to sd card, boot into TWRP then install update.zip, after update you will lose TWRP and root so you need to flash TWRP and root again....

one annoying thing is after flashing official firmware the device will encrypt again so the TWRP won't see the internal stoarage, you need to format data and flash the decrypted boot.img....

if u wish to use official firmwre update then dont mod the system.
even if it can be flash but u will facing some weird problem

How to update ?
Download the update.zip n extract all its contents
Create a folder dload in either internal memory or ext sdcard
Copy the extracted contents into the dload folder
Switch off phone
Press both volup, vol down n power button simultaneously
When phone starts to boot , release only power button
Once you see emui logo than only release the vol buttons
Firmware will be updated than
You could see twice reboot before phone is fully started
The update process takes about 1+ min only
All data remain intact

the latest build fixed my whatapps laggy issue.
