Have u set these apps as protected apps inside the battery manager setting?

Just long press the msg u want to delete, then u will have the option to delete the msg

The pic is sharp and clear, taken with ur newly bought Mate 8?

So wasted...why did u buy it at the 1st place

Should give it a chance and use it longer

The "cheapo" case looks quite premium

Know the feel..i am opposite of u, sold my 1 week used S7e for this Mate 8, prefer the size, and the display over s7e.

Although S7e camera still better, this mate 8 camera still doesnt produce bad picture.

I wont say the quality is the best, but it is good and acceptable.

To take a nice pic in low light situation, i will use manual mode instead.

The 2k price tag doesnt mean the hardware is lousier than the other premium phones. Can say this is a premium phone with reasonable price, the others are over priced.

To be honest, if i didnt get the 1st pre-order of samsung s7e, i wouldnt ever consider getting it at the price of 3099..

Samsung thread there are few ppl reporting lag and auto reboot issues as well..

It's all depends on personal preference and experience.. this is advantage of being a consumer, we have a freedom to choose whichever phone and brand we want, and we think suit us the most (those who have been brainwashed by certain brain is different story).

Google keyboard is always my choice for all my Android phone. The smoothest keyboard for me.

just borrowed my sister in law's Note 5 to take a pic:

As u can, Note 5 takes brighter pic in low light.

But the Mate 8 pic is closer to real life. The pic reflect what i actually see in real life. There is no light at the place i stand, hence it is not as bright as what is shown in Note 5's pic.

Note 5's pic may have lower noise level than Mate 8's. However, this can be improved by using the manual mode:



But s7e with bigger aperture should take even better pic than Note 5.

LOL, the image just auto rotated when i uploaded it...edited the pic anyway, uploaded to somewhere else instead

I would get the mate 8 for the smoother performance, bigger and better screen (i know most of u like amoled), and definitely the battery is awesome.

Saw ppl in s7e thread and some other online review mentioning the the game Need For Speed No Limited is laggy in s7e coz the game is not optimised for s7e... tried download this game to play, i'm glad that this game run smooth in this phone
