Origi and Ibe show that potential is limitless
Admit it, you had your doubts about Divock Origi, didn't you? You wondered about his touch, his movement, his quality. It's okay, we all did. But the Belgian delivered the most sensational of ripostes here with a performance that will live long in the memory. Jurgen Klopp rates this lad. He spoke openly about that. This was why. Origi showed he is listening, he showed he is capable of making intelligent runs, of holding off defenders and, as the game wore on, of getting into goalscoring positions and finishing. His first goal was a poacher's effort, a tad fortunate maybe. His second and third were superb, a brilliant drive and a nice header. Perfect hat-trick, thank you very much. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/footb...ool-fc-10540791 |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Dec 7 2015, 10:04 AM) Moreno's goals was wrongly flagged offside. Newcastle hardly deserved to win.If Moreno goal was given, and Sturridge took his striker well, and Skrtel deflected goal did not go in acute angle or top corner, the scoreline might be different. The difference was so thin marginally. Just the win against Swansea with penalty due to handball. Having said that, it was one of poor game out of many by Klopp's Liv, 1 shot on target spoke all, Newcastle deserved the win with more determination and spirit and better game plan execution. The team clearly lose its shape and fluidity without Coutinho and Can aggressiveness. We saw lack of gegenpressing in the match. We don't need to bluff ourselves, the team has long way to go. A draw would have been a fair result |

QUOTE(jialitrading @ Dec 14 2015, 02:01 AM) Klopp is poor in player substitutions... And you expected Klopp to be a miracle worker? Should made sub at 60" when things didn't go well.. I prefer origi over ineffective benteke.. So many points loss.. Against lower team.. If not..we could be sitting 4th place now I got no confident with this team... We lying 8th come season end |

QUOTE(zakwanfuad @ Dec 14 2015, 09:19 AM) Bro, this is a time for chances.. Klopp needs to know whom to sell and whom to keep.. Think Bro is a SHE. he giving them chance to shine.. if no shine, they kena jual.. and we should not expect fireworks to happen this season.. the highest we could be at the end of the season is 4th.. but that could also be far fetched because Spurs, Leicester are also eyeing for that spot.. just expect us to be in a respectable position.. |

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Dec 20 2015, 11:20 PM) The way you guys are going on, looks like many of our squad should be sold and replaced. Similar situation to what happened to Chelsea. Not possible to sack 22 players, so... i could have sworn that Klopp was the manager. However, in our case, our coach is still new...and much overhyped! The way he dropped Benteke (due to popular pressure?) and then bringing him on tonight (hoping he will rescue the situation?!) shows that Klopp has been super inflated to something he is absolutely not! I am not saying he is lousy. I am just saying that all these coaches are more or less..not that great a difference lah! Special one, normal one, all the same one! Think Guardiola is that great? Of course lah, from Barcelona, he went to manage Bayern. These are all top teams what! So, we have to give Mr Klopp two seasons and then, after that see how much money FSG has got left! |

QUOTE(manx @ Dec 21 2015, 09:09 AM) will give him this and next season to strengthen the squad. With bunch of clowns in the squad you know what we can achieve. So be patient and let see what Klopp can bring to the team next next season. I thought we can fight for 4th spot this season but looking at the current form, I think 7th will be the best YeahGive him some time to implement his style. Many players will be culled before we see the full team of Kloppers. We have seen some evidence of what his style can do. We can't be judging a manager after only 3 months unless yer are Hodge! |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Dec 21 2015, 10:15 AM) Media sometimes may be bias one. Problem is so called fans are easily manipulated by media. A foreign coach, spent 0 money, no pre-season training, inherited a squad that was deemed "no tool", with winless streak for 4 matches, knife is out..., even MU only suffered the first defeat of the season at OT, mind that MU only conceded 1 goal at OT since the season started prior before last Saturday match, whereby home record was really good on stat), sacking word also circulating around. It is become a norm in modern age. But as far as I remembered BR was given 3 years and plenty of money support, yet criticism was not as strong as Klopp which barely a few months in charge. So to set the record straight, i posted the perspective to fans here. 3 months in charge! |

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Dec 21 2015, 10:19 AM) Klopp has to work with the likes of Sakho, Mignolet/Bogdan, Clyne, etc. Think he will need to rethink his spine. Hendo has just come into the team. Will he be part of Klopp's spine. All of which are not his players. We need a striker, yes. But the current crop of players are also terribly shite. Right now Klopp is just getting to know his players better. i was just told, Klopp got rid of 12 players in his first year with Dortmund! The players had better take note! |

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Dec 21 2015, 10:39 AM) Hendo was good. His long balls were decent. Thing is. This was almost the same team which took MancsC apart! But really, the whole team was piss poor. I can accept losing, but not when the team plays like crap. What has happened? i thought Bogdan was unlucky with the 1st goal. The fella kicked the ball out of his hands. That's a foul. But yeah, not just this game. The last 3 games we were very poor |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Dec 21 2015, 01:48 PM) Yes, it was a foul as Bogdan was 2 hand on the ball, but it was his mistake in the first place that failed to catch the ball properly the lead to the messy situation. More worried about the last 3 matches instead of just this last one.To be fair, I don't think referee can see his both hand on the ball afterwards as well, nobody can see (even Liv players did not protest much) until slow motion replay. GK's mistake consecutively from 2 matches with 2 different GK? Something not right with the GK coaching method? or may be a need overhaul of GK personnel? Anyway, no matter what happened, or even if the goal was ruled out, (the worst match display since under Klopp until now), no way the team can even gather 1 point with such a performance. Our strikeforce seems to have fallen off the cliff since the whitewashing of Southampton. Look at the striking opportunities stats. They are quite poor. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Dec 22 2015, 03:00 PM) Looking at the league table, Still long way to go. 21 more games with the January transfer window opening soon. The outcome end of season potential: Leicester won the league (top of the league), CP (same point with 4th currently) and Watford (1 points from the 4th) qualified the CL. If like that, it will really ashame on the scout, transfer committee and managers of the big club across. Anything can happen. Yes. Leicester may become another Nottingham Forest. That's a possibility. Or they may fade away in the 2nd half. Form is Temporary. Remember Class is permanent. |

QUOTE(itekderp @ Dec 27 2015, 11:16 AM) Quite a big turn around. Fickle No?Earlier Origi was getting bashed, claims that he's useless etc. Now the Liverpool fans are seeing him for what he really is, quite a talent. Think he was just wasted under BR. And then this injury comes along. Kid can't catch a break. Worst player in French league. Hohoho This post has been edited by prophetjul: Dec 27 2015, 01:54 PM |
