QUOTE(koolspyda @ Nov 30 2015, 07:36 AM) Little timid Rather insipid at times Little cohesion at times Less possession But Hard fought and 3 points for the win. I'll take it. Klopp is good, it shows with tweaking even a tired 'B team', slight hangover from Europa shows a team desiplined to sticking to game plan. Rotating is the way No courtinho, no lucas, no problem. YNWA The team looked a bit "tired", didn't move the ball faster, hence lesser open chance can be created, and with the absence of Coutinho, there was lack of creativity and driving force on the final third. 3 points with Lovren, no Coutinho, and clean sheet? It was something unthinkable months ago. Btw, Klopp didn't watch his players took penalty one. He watched the fan reaction instead.

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Dec 1 2015, 06:12 AM) Liverpool paid over £14.3 million in fees for agents between October 2014 and September 2015 – more than any other Premier League club.Six of those eight were domestic players signed from other English sides, whether that has affected the large amount of money paid to agents isn’t clear. Acquiring Milner on a free transfer means that a hefty signing on fee can be expected there. (Zzzzz not as free as some think it is, it's considerable I guess)Liverpool’s £14.3 million paid to agents is half a million more than the nearest club, Man United (£13.8m).< alarming to know considering man utd spent quite a bit on transfers. Staggering amount isn't it 😳 Liverpool’s Agent Fees – Last 5 Years14-15: £14,301,464
13-14: £14,308,444
12-13: £9,400,973
11-12: £8,600,444
10-11: £7,000,243
Total: £53,611,568😳😳 *note: we always ONLY see the players transfers fee, but never aware of amount of agent figures. (As they are separate from the total fee we see published on the media) Really staggering figure, and really "amazed" by topping the club spent on agent fee. But after the money had been spent, the club is with no CL, and players were deemed not good enough previously. Remember this statement? QUOTE if you give me the tools, I’ll do the work.”

Normal one manager with a team that was claimed "without tool"... May be we previously we interpret wrongly on the "normal". It is totally normal for the normal manager to win like that...

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Dec 3 2015, 03:19 PM) Before at Dortmund, every of their fans spoke highly of him 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 *** We now get to see it first hand, we are enjoying about every minute of Juergen Klopp. His methods, his quirkie interviews etc **and Yet, there are those who choose to point out, highlight his final year at Dortmund. 😏😏 Yes, every team may have one bad season. Thank god he (Klopp) choose to leave, and now he is with us. I like his humble interview, those old cocky one, hear it also sick.

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Dec 7 2015, 08:17 AM) Zzz Compared what la. Sometimes we played zzz against crap teams, it seems we haven't shaken that hoodoo yet. Under rafa, some times under rodgers. we appear not knowing what to do with it. I hope we self correct ourselves. Newcastle played to their game. We were unlucky on monero's no goal. Sometimes it gets lucky, sometimes not Moreno's goals was wrongly flagged offside. If Moreno goal was given, and Sturridge took his striker well, and Skrtel deflected goal did not go in acute angle or top corner, the scoreline might be different. The difference was so thin marginally. Just the win against Swansea with penalty due to handball. Having said that, it was one of poor game out of many by Klopp's Liv, 1 shot on target spoke all, Newcastle deserved the win with more determination and spirit and better game plan execution. The team clearly lose its shape and fluidity without Coutinho and Can aggressiveness. We saw lack of gegenpressing in the match. We don't need to bluff ourselves, the team has long way to go.

QUOTE(jacckl @ Dec 7 2015, 10:38 AM) ibe always hold the ball too long and when he pass, either intercept by newscastle players or miss our players. benteke was lazy and miss his only chance of the game. milner + allen + lucas should never start together, period. Ibe looked lively on the ball, but the timing and quality of passing were poor, may be this time Klopp may need to lend a timer instead of glasses. Allen was a weak link in the yesterday match, contributed little on both offence and defence. Anyway, Klopp honesty (the team played poorly) are liked many, instead finding excuse or single out any player for the loss.

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Dec 7 2015, 10:31 AM) Before whacking the bigger teams, they thought it was there for the taking, a piss poor Liverpool from the start of the season. Newcastle rightly choose to 'allow' us to take the game and left little room. I agree if courtino started it might help in the dimension of the game (but he's injured) I suspect klopp already knew newscastle will play as such (hence benteke gets a role) it's the the combination didn't get the job done right. There is no easy game in EPL, see this week result, only Arsenal managed to get a slim 2-1 win against Sunderland that also on paper should be an easy match against a relegation threaten team. Most so called "big team", dropped point or loss, while Leicester top the table, which make why EPL is an exciting league to watch, instead of only a few team always win in other league. With the new TV money, CL football is no longer a sole lucrative financial source, so other team also got some financial power to hold/sign on some good players.

QUOTE(Cloud0890 @ Dec 9 2015, 06:51 AM) Daniel Sturridge injury update: Fears growing over another hamstring lay-off for Liverpool» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Concerns are growing that the striker suffered a problem with his hamstring in the defeat to Newcastle at the weekend when he appeared as a second half substitute. Nothing confirmed but reported by multiple credible sources including Skysports and LiverpoolEcho. Set to be out until New Year at least. OH GAWD NOT AGAIN And to make things worse... Liverpool will be forced to spend a second night in Switzerland this week - affecting preparations for Sunday’s Premier League showdown with West Brom at Anfield.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The Reds usually fly straight back to John Lennon Airport after a European away game but that isn’t possible following Thursday night’s clash with FC Sion due to Swiss aviation laws. As a result Jurgen Klopp’s squad won’t arrive home until Friday afternoon – just 48 hours before the visit of Tony Pulis’ Baggies. The issue stems from the fact that no flights are allowed to take off from Geneva Airport between the hours of midnight and 6am due to the number of houses in close proximity. Liverpool are flying in and out of Geneva which is around 160km away from Sion. With the game kicking off at 7pm Swiss time, Liverpool wouldn’t be able to get away from Sion’s Stade Tourbillon until around 10pm. With Geneva Airport a two-hour drive away, it was too tight for the Reds to guarantee they would make the midnight cut off point. As a result Liverpool will stay nearby before being driven to Geneva on Friday. Bad home record? Check. Best striker out injured? Check. Best playmaker still a doubt? Check. Tony Pulis parking the bus? Check. I think this may go down the worst EPL injury record of a player... Send "2nd team" to play , after all already qualified. Situation is not the like 2nd team against RM... It doesn't make much difference whether qualify via top or second of the group. All are tough opponent across.

QUOTE(lcy851031 @ Dec 9 2015, 12:55 PM) We still need to win the match vs FC Sion to stay top of the group to qualify, so that we can avoid facing stronger team (ie: teams dumped from Champions League). At knock out stage, there is no such thing of "weak team". Somemore you need to have ability to beat strong team in order to win the trophy as well. Weak team may be banana skin as well. See, prior last week against Newcastle, many said Newcastle was weak team, expect to roll over, but loss 2-0. While against strong team like Mancity, win 1-4. Can Europa league knock out stage come with a draw Liv vs MU?

QUOTE(jialitrading @ Dec 14 2015, 02:01 AM) Klopp is poor in player substitutions... Should made sub at 60" when things didn't go well.. I prefer origi over ineffective benteke.. So many points loss.. Against lower team.. If not..we could be sitting 4th place now I got no confident with this team... We lying 8th come season end Huh? The team was playing quite well, if discarded the 2 mistake in the set piece that cost the goals. Chances and half chances were created in between although it may not too many. The first goal was classic superb attacking play, Lallana's 1 v 1 with Myhill was also another which he should be scoring. It was the mistake of first goal and set piece cost the team dearly. The first goal was a collectively mistake, GK missed the cross, player did not mark opponent players tight, ball watching, not closing down fast on loose ball. Second goal, poor defending on the near post during corner. Both goals conceded came from corner.

I don't understand why so many pundit criticise Klopp for telling players hand in hand to "thank you" the fans after the match ended.
Although the result is not coming into your way (not winning), at least it is a tribute to thank the fans for the support and roaring during the match who act as 12th man.
By the pundit logic, only winning a match can do this? And players and manager should walk out the stadium head down when they fail to win?
After all, it was not totally poor match performance delivered, the team attacked relentless throughout the match, just lack of more cutting edge and goal did not come out and outdone by 2 mistake in defending in set piece (W.Brom has 2 shot on target for the entire match, and scored 2).

Now media and pundits seems like starting their bazooka against Klopp just after 2 months plus on the issue saluting the fans after the WBA match. The gesture was not celebrating the draw against WBA but a "thank you" gesture towards the fans that support the team until the last min, but many pundits said it is stupid and disgrace to do it when the team only manage to get a draw

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Dec 15 2015, 05:39 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I will remember the good times we had with Owen. Yes, some of it were fantastic. remember 5 trophies in a season.
weather or not the delay in Owen's commitment to extend his contract somehow may have affected his performance the following season and when LiverpoolFc seem to stutter that season, well it may be argued to death by all Lfc for many years.
Cloud0890 you mentioned that sometimes players should not be blamed entirely, well, i then try to look at the circumstances. Players and clubs are a two way thing. The club needs stability and to either build around KEY players or should continue to INVEST time to persuade for players contract extension.
Football fans has hopes & dreams to see their fav club to achieve greater heights, they invest time to watch games, indulge and parting their hard earn money in purchasing gifts/items/ club's paraphernalia, football merchandise for they love and hope to see their club achieve success. they feel good when the club does well.
The football club has a commitment to the fans, they have to ensure stability. Why should they invest time? If the player feels professionally, he wants and has no further love for club, then bugger off. DON'T waste the clubs time, as IF they were to pursue another player while the KEY players is doing quite alright, it might seem unwarranted.
Sterling wanted out, he felt he has no love from Mr Rodgers. He felt he cannot and thinks will not become a better player under rodgers. so he goes. he didn't run down his contract. Again I'm not condoning Sterlings actions. As many who seemingly want the rest of us to 'love' players who jilted us on the altar (i.e. mcmananman & Owen) I just saying some we need to break up early as to not waste each others time.
I think its not wrong think Suarez might just have engineered his way out (from lfc). He is still loved by all Kopites. But i think he's probably being diplomatic not to shove the finger at the manager who last managed him before he left LFC.
Players come and go. If you don't think professionally the club is right for you then make necessary arrangements, the club then will pursue other targets. Football clubs needs stability as they have fans investing interest.
Its always should be a two way thing, not for the selfishness of some prima donna players. Klopp is doing exactly that by having players to remember they have the duty to repay fans interest. that's why all the congratulating at the end, and he too hope fans does the same by not leaving 10-15minutes before the game ends. Who are these people? When Liverpool is winning, they don't leave and offer excuses that traffic is to blame, but when a certain foreigner manager gets a lousy result managing LFC. Oh, the bloody traffic jams, the train timings are not in sync. Leave now. One lousy excuse. sorry thats another ranting altogether
Have to agree on this. Players should left the club with good term. If not wish to be around the club, want to venture elsewhere, don't need play the mind game and try to run down the contract, just make clear to the club and let the club to decide what to do, either run down the contract or sell the player. If no, straight away said, don't wish to renew the contract when expired. If yes, then just pen down the contract when feel justified, just like what Carra did.

QUOTE(8sg9ft @ Dec 15 2015, 10:38 PM) It's a German thing. Very normal there. Media going overboard with Klopp's salute to the fans. Nothing else to write. But I saw media put statement "Klopp led celebration at Anfield", and pundits also pounce on it, and said sick to see it Liv "celebrate" the draw against WBA. They never realise it is not a celebration on the result, but a gesture to salute the fans support until last min of gam. It is the pundits failed to understand or purposely don't want to understand, this I don't know already. I wish to tell the pundits, let's be honest, Liv did not put up a totally bad game display, just sloppy in set piece defending undone the result.

QUOTE(AnythingK @ Dec 16 2015, 04:21 PM) By the way, this season most of the game I did not watch live, I only remember I did not watch any of the game where Liverpool trashed the opponent, Soton, Chelsea, Soton, and etc. I did watched live when we lost to Palace and Newcastle. Checked the date and time for the next 4 games, all I also can watch LIVE! YES! If lose all I #KLOPPOUT. Then play stay away... This year EPL is totally unpredictable, Mancity can lose against Stoke, Liv against Newcastle, MU against Bournemouth, Spurs against Newcastle, Chelsea just 1 point above relegation zone, Leicester top of the league. So you cannot see the fixture and say this is easy match expect 3 points in the bag.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Dec 21 2015, 09:00 AM) Knives are sharp and long too after only 3 months............ incredible! Media sometimes may be bias one. A foreign coach, spent 0 money, no pre-season training, inherited a squad that was deemed "no tool", with winless streak for 4 matches, knife is out..., even MU only suffered the first defeat of the season at OT, mind that MU only conceded 1 goal at OT since the season started prior before last Saturday match, whereby home record was really good on stat), sacking word also circulating around. It is become a norm in modern age. But as far as I remembered BR was given 3 years and plenty of money support, yet criticism was not as strong as Klopp which barely a few months in charge.

So be patient and let see what Klopp can bring to the team next next season. I thought we can fight for 4th spot this season but looking at the current form, I think 7th will be the best This year expect nothing due to the club bought poorly over the summer. In fact already consecutive 2 years of poor transfer dealing.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Dec 21 2015, 12:24 PM) Thing is. This was almost the same team which took MancsC apart! What has happened? i thought Bogdan was unlucky with the 1st goal. The fella kicked the ball out of his hands. That's a foul. But yeah, not just this game. The last 3 games we were very poor Yes, it was a foul as Bogdan was 2 hand on the ball, but it was his mistake in the first place that failed to catch the ball properly the lead to the messy situation. To be fair, I don't think referee can see his both hand on the ball afterwards as well, nobody can see (even Liv players did not protest much) until slow motion replay. GK's mistake consecutively from 2 matches with 2 different GK? Something not right with the GK coaching method? or may be a need overhaul of GK personnel? Anyway, no matter what happened, or even if the goal was ruled out, (the worst match display since under Klopp until now), no way the team can even gather 1 point with such a performance.

Looking at the league table, The outcome end of season potential: Leicester won the league (top of the league), CP (same point with 4th currently) and Watford (1 points from the 4th) qualified the CL.
If like that, it will really ashame on the scout, transfer committee and managers of the big club across.
