how many cm is just nice ><

The size of hedgie is just an estimation on how old it is. There's no such thing as how nice it is just by judging the size. Sometimes, a hoglet might be bigger than normal if it's a single baby from the mum as there're no competitors to compete for milk from the mum and all the nutrient go into it. As for a mummy hedgie with a lot of hoglets, sometimes you can find a hedgie that's smaller than its siblings, that doesn't mean the hedgie is not healthy, all it need is an extra attention.

Disinfect the toys and cage/container with detergent. Use newspaper as the bedding and only put the food and water dish inside the cage/container. Spray your hedgehog with Frontline and avoid the face area. Leave the hedgehog back in its cage/container for 3 to 4 hours and bath it after the duration so that it'll be free from Frontline. Repeat the same step 3 days later to make sure that the hedgehog is free from mites. Usually the quarantine last for 7 days, remember to change the newspaper everyday. Find out the source of the mites if possible.

I've forgotten how much it is, the size is 4kg. Remember to buy only Delikate or Chipsi Classic, it might be a little bit more expensive than the chapalang brand but it won't irritate the hedgie.

Errr... no need actually, the Frontline is strong enough to kill the mites. If you insist, then you use J&J wet tissue to wipe the face.

No need to thank me lar, the most next time we meet up by any chance, belanja me eat can d brows.gif

Errr... keep all the toys from him for now, cos he's infected by mites now and if you let them keeping in touch with the toys, the mites will spread. The treatment will be useless unless you washed the toys everytime he finished playing.

Maju is still open after 6, til 8-9 if I remember correctly. The clinic's phone number is provided, you can always give them a call, ask them what's their business hour. You said your hedgie is half dead and yet you still want to postpone the visiting date? I don't think that's a good idea, test result can wait but not your hedgie's life. Well, the decision is up to you, I'm only voicing out my opinion.

How to toilet train them? i keep on shift the poo to a corner but then they still shit on the wheel. sad.gif
Or u use other method to train them?
no wonder.....i tried fruits and vege oso no use.....but then my hedgehog likes super mealworm very much......eat until fat fat.
*
If you give them wheel, you can forget about toilet training laugh.gif

Get the normal mealies instead of supermealworm. Supermealworm isn't good for mammals as some hormones or chemical stuffs is injected into supermealies to make them grow bigger than the normal mealies.

Do away the wheel means take away? Don't do it please, hedgie love the wheel a lot! The most you have to be a little bit hardworking and clean the wheel as often as you can laugh.gif

A reminder: Get a 12" wheel for hedgie, anything smaller than that is a big no-no, will cause back injuries to the hedgies.

Actually how the wheel hurt the hedgehog? It is the center of the wheel dirt hurt th hedgehog back or when hedgehog running on the wheel his body become curve and hurt the back bone ?

Hmm maybe need to be quick to DIY a wheel that bigger than 8"
or else change cage with 12" wheel.

I didn't put any box let my hedgehog sleep, i DIY a huge waterpipe and my hedgehog just can sleep inside there, somemore can let him play around with the waterpipe.
*
You better take the wheel out now and replace it when you get a suitable one smile.gif

Just wanna ask......do any of u throw in toys for the hedgehog to play?

I feel like buying a rubber toy wif squeking sound when pressed..... biggrin.gif

Today my hedgehog mistakenly bite me, coz tat time my hand was holding his food. Luckily, my palm very kasar......buruh kasar. =.=
*
The best toy is the wheel, they just love to run inside it. Another thing is the toilet roll, or a ball with a bell inside, the bell attracts them I think. They aren't fond with toys that are static.
