QUOTE(lukescamwalker @ Feb 29 2016, 05:43 PM) Assissted, flick opening either by hand, spring, or by gravity, or centrifugal force is a big no iinm Ya... damn....Here any knife is considered a weapon though. But as usual depends on polis discretion based on carrier appearances I was about to click buy until it dawned on me... sigh... there goes my kershaw edc.. quote++ 1. Any knife, sometimes known as a flick knife, which has a blade which opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in or attached to the handle of the knife. 2. Any knife, sometimes known as a gravity knife, which has a blade which is released from the handle or sheath thereof by the force of gravity or the application of centrifugal force and which, when released, is locked in place by means of a button, spring, lever or other device. unquote++ |

QUOTE(tescogot @ Feb 29 2016, 06:28 PM) i thought our law is similar to uk and by that extend we're not allowed to carry a knife with a locking blade frame lock?right? Anyway, Police is king in Msia... its up to them to decide what's legal or not, the actual law matters little... This post has been edited by MeToo: Feb 29 2016, 06:36 PM |

QUOTE(epsilon_chinwk86 @ Mar 1 2016, 09:34 AM) hey guys. Those tactical pouch is looking mighty sexy. Recommend one for a bro here please. Looking for something waterproof so that I can hang/strap it to the outside of my camping bag for easier access and something with inner straps. These tactical pouch are mostly MOLLE types. There are alot, mostly not branded and you can find in many of those shops in KWC, Petaling Street, etc... Semi branded ones would be FLYYE, PANTAC (these 2 types i personally use), while more branded would be the 5.11 etc... they are rugged and use premium stuff liek YKK zippers, 1000D cordura, etc etc Some of these MOLLE tactical stuff are used by real soldiers goign to war... meaning some can be very very expensive. U can browse eagle for some example... http://www.eagleindustries.com/products/products.aspx?id=2 This post has been edited by MeToo: Mar 1 2016, 11:04 AM |

Spray then leave or need to wipe or scrub or how? No need to detach anything right? Rust u need to scrub. What kind of rust we talking about here? Just rust stain? patina? Or fullblown rust rust? If u cannot dissasemble the knife, just dip it say thinner.. then spray some rust remove... try your best to scrub it abit... dry it off out in the sun.. or use electrical contact cleaner... remember to grease/oil the appropriate parts again.. i usually use singer oil or teflon spray |
