QUOTE(CyrusWong @ Dec 29 2015, 10:49 PM) installed google play store, using the "Google installer谷歌应用下载器.apk" everything seems working good. but in play store, many apps are stated as "not compatible with your device" .... how you guys deal with it? stable rom or dev rom? i will go mi app store install then can update in playstore. QUOTE(staind @ Dec 29 2015, 11:17 PM) I am new to flashing. what is the difference between above and http://en.miui.com/thread-193681-1-1.html? both is to flash to 7.0.19.0 I just bought mine from 1gadget.com. It is preinstalled with 7.1.1.1. would like to flash to 7.0.19.0 use this from 7.1.1.1 flash to 7.0.19.0 http://en.miui.com/thread-193681-1-1.htmlfollow steps by steps, enable USB debugging from phone, and use Lower Version of SP_Flash_Tool_V5.1516.00. use this from 7.0.19.0 to DEV rom http://en.miui.com/a-232.htmlThis post has been edited by hirota: Dec 29 2015, 11:31 PM

One more question, i saw many times it was mentioned device bricked. does this means if not careful, will caused irreversible damage to my phone?

QUOTE(staind @ Dec 29 2015, 11:33 PM) I see. One more question, i saw many times it was mentioned device bricked. does this means if not careful, will caused irreversible damage to my phone? What i read so far is there is 2 type of brick soft and hard. Hard bricked happen when flashing the wrong rom so far and not safeable (your phone turned into a expansive paper weight). Mostly soft bricked where the screen did not turn on usually happen when using wrong sp flash version or you are accidental release the vol down button during upload of the rom from pc to phone. Soft brick still saveable This post has been edited by febreze2xxx: Dec 29 2015, 11:51 PM

QUOTE(febreze2xxx @ Dec 28 2015, 10:41 PM) Man i've just successfully flash rom from 7.1.1.1 to 7.0.19.0 and now the dev rom already out. Anybody successfully root their RN3 on 7.0.19.0? Mine always fail when rooting using the program. But I have no problem to root the phone on 7.1.1.1 rom weird. Only way at the moment, using DEV ROM... and download the rooted rom. TWRP can be flash after successfully unlocked bootloader....

QUOTE(hirota @ Dec 29 2015, 10:44 PM) that's my personal experienced yes from our member feds64http://myandroidous.blogspot.my/2015/12/un...rooted-for.htmlu dont need to unlock bootloader to flash dev rom, u just download the dev rom and save to ur phone "downloaded_rom" folder, then go setting > about phone > system updates > select "choose update package" from ur top right menu, then look for the rom u downloaded in "downloaded_rom" folder, that's it how i updated my DEV rom. more info here http://en.miui.com/a-232.htmlNo need to Unlocked Bootloader... This is the one you should be looking at Flash the vendor rom to official rom

Anyone bought Redmi Note 3 from satugadget or directd ? I mean since it's not launched here, they import from China. Does it support the LTE here? I see satugadget mentioned it doesn't support Digi LTE. So what band does Note 3 support? 1800 or 2600 only?

QUOTE(hirota @ Dec 30 2015, 09:48 AM) ya, high possibility. SD650 is a strong chipset too, i saw the benchmarking 650/652 quite comparable with 808/810

I read few of them having the same issues, the mod there will ask them factory reset ur device and try again.
