This is my usual way to make my RMVB. there's not much guide out there and after i hit the wall (撞墙） for a few times, this is what i know.

first, you have to make sure ur original video can be play in Windows Media Player. This is to make sure u have the appropriate Direct Show Filter for your video, because Easy Realmedia Producer needs the Direct Show filter.

Avisynth2.54
vobsub2.33&unrar.dll
ogg audio decoder
realmedia splitter
AC3Filter

Install the software and get everything started.

There's 2 program: Producer and Editor

Producer is for video encoding while Editor is for cutting, joining videos.

To start converting video to RMVB, launch Easy Realmedia Producer
It has a simple Graphic User Interface (GUI) for it


Open the video file u wan to convert.


Ur file will be shown at the job list.
U can do a batch encoding by open all ur files in the joblist.


then select (highlighted) the file and click the settings.
This setting is independent to each file of ur joblist

in the setting menu. there's many encoding settings to tweak.
in the Video Code field, choose Real Video 10
for the Audio Code field, choose the bitrate and channel u like.
Remain "Music" in Audio Mode for the best quality.
usually, i choose 128kbps Stereo Real Audio 10
in the AvgBitrate field, set to 500-550
this bitrate will determine the output file size.
if u need higher video quality, increase the bitrate
if u need to resize ur video, tick the "Resize to" and key in ur value
if no resize is needed, just leave it blank.


other settings can be left as default.

after all the settings are done.
Start the job.
