Not entirely wrong. As long as the phone will be supported by the developer for at least 3 years down the road then it'd be good. I am not a tech savvy guy to flash custom ROM, but hope that this new phone I am buying has the latest features (android Pie) at the moment. If the dev does not continue to update then I have the option to flash custom ROM, that's my plan.

Of course, not only able to flash ROM but also the criteria I stated in my first post.

I will look into the specs of OnePlus 6.

1) By the way, how much is it right now? Different websites give different prices.. Don't know which one is legit..

2) I'll buy it from physical shop instead of from online shop. Where can I get it? I live around Klang valley.

The good thing I heard from people about Pixel is that Google will still keep updating the ROM for them even after 3 years from release. As for Oneplus6, the developer doesn't care about older builds' update when they release newer phone. This is one of my concern.

But overall, including features, hardware and software comparison, which one you recommend most?

Good camera, battery life, occasional gaming, and decent space. Prefer Samsung mainly UI and more stable.
Currently 32GB S7E have been annoying me with insufficient space..

Not looking for recommendation here, just wondering whether I should fix my phone with broken glass or get a new phone. I've been using a Nova 2i and I'm mostly satisfied with the performance although there's lag when using Google Maps and certain games. The phone's glass is broken now and I wonder whether it's better to fix it or just get a new phone instead because the 2nd hand value of the phone is quite low to begin with.

Is it worth it to get the xiaomi note 10? Good camera. But the snapdragon 730 and the gpu kinda turn me off. I tried the phone last night. Took photo w the 108mp camera, then lag on the spot for a few seconds.

Any good suggestion? Iphone 11 or note 10? Or just wait till next year? Using iphone 8plus now. Battery only drop performance.

Huawei's spec is nice but I'm not really a fan of it's software. Also I just saw used global set Xperia XZ2 selling for around RM600 on Shopee, do you think that's a good idea? Snapdragon 845 and Sony's touch at that price point sounds tempting
