Hi All, I'm contemplating between huawei p10 plus and iphone 7.
p10+ has 6gb ram instead of ip7 2gb only. However i think ios doesnt need so much ram to operate smoothly right? (correct me if i'm wrong)
p10+ has leica lens camera.

I'm an apple phone user currently but work phone is samsung and now i'm intending to replace my personal phone. the thing that worries me most is the performance of android as many people said android phone will lag after 1 year of usage.

My budget is less than 3k or slightly over though..

Need some recommendations please:

1. Brand. Avoid Samsung.
2. Budget. <RM500.
3. Specs. Best bang for the bucks.
4. Type/Size. For age 40 man.

Basically I want something as cheap as possible while giving the best spec at lesser than RM500 price. I don't mind AP set. Thanks all!

I'm not a selfie fan, just love taking casual pics (food, random objects and etc). Always use WhatsApp, GMAIL, FB, IG, YouTube, Telegram, Spotify. I know with a tight budget, I cant expect much...but still, I hope tha phone dont always "hang" or reallly sloow. Im thinking of Mi A1, but would love to hear if any others suggestions.

2. A good processor. I have been told that Snapdragon processors are better than MediaTek / Exynos / Kirin / etc. - is that true? I would want whatever kind of processor that is the best. (Do kindly advise on how to choose processors. )
3. Minimum 2GB RAM. 2 SIM slots of any kind. At least a memory card slot of any kind.
4. No preference on camera / screen size / thickness.

What do I need -
1. A phone with LONG battery life. I can't be arsed to bring a power bank around.

Guys, I've been thinking of getting a Pixel 2, anyone knows if they come with warranty or do I have to go to a third party phone repair shop if anything happens to it?

I heard about it, so they never fixed the slowing down issue because they are planning to release a new phone? thats a shame. I want a good camera phone, hows the P20 Pro? I don't like how they wash out faces and blows out some colours but it looks alright otherwise
