Memphis is getting better. First half at least. Really hardworking and direct. The real Memphis is coming out. Slowly. Hopefully.

borwick jackson? he looks good. but not sure if he can challenge hensem shaw when he is back... varela nervy but runs a lot. rclxm9.gif

Yes that fella looks good for someone suddenly to be put in first team. Looks ready, at least for the league in general if not the big teams. Seems to be more defensive minded unlike Shaw, but good option to have. Can sell the non performing "stars" already.

Varela is really aggressive, a'la Rafael. I loike. Very attacking minded.

Don't mind the younger defensive partnerships, and making those mistakes. I can't really brain the Mata fella. Put in the middle already in place of Rooney, but doesn't seem to have much effect. Need more games there? Midfield almost non existence sometimes. What's with United and midfielders nowadays? laugh.gif

Doesn't this means LVG tak suka? I tot he likes discipline and order thats why Rafael kena shipped out?

I guess Varela is only playing cause he has no other options otherwise, Varela would be stuck in U21.
For me the problem with Mata is his speed. His brain may move at a fast pace but too bad his body doesn't move at the same pace. At least you see David Silva, he can quickly sidestep and avoid tackles. Mata doesn't have that. Such a pity.

Well another guess would exactly Varela. Similar player who is probably cheaper wage wise and good option without being an expensive bench warmer. And Rafael being injury prone?

Guardiola rumoured to be on the way exit from BM. Joining maybe the blue side of Manchester?

Unker Ancelotti to replace him.

So, LvG out, who in?

Nowadays all manager kena sack anyway except wenger might as well win some trophies.

Sad but true sleep.gif

Get JM, let him have his 3 seasons, in that time hopefully Giggs will learn from him, if not take managerial post somewhere else. Get the elite players, win trophies, and let other elite manager take care of JM's team later on. Win win!

Rumours circulating Rooney is suffering from depression, hence the alcohol rumour as well weeks prior. Hope it is not true. If it is true, I hope he gets all the help and support.

It is time.

He did improve the team that finish 7th during DM.

Time for United to find replacement to further improve this team. Otherwise, United will be left far behind the likes of Bayern, which are ruthless in almost every sense nowadays.

So slow and laboured passing. Midfield especially final third almost missing entire game. Instructions by manager, or players not up to par nowadays?

Pep is sooooo going to MC. His buddies are there and the club even has great youth setup better than United's. Let's not dream there.

I guess the only available winners out there are Simeone and Blanc. But Blanc have reservations as it is the French League. Simeone at least he won the league against all odds and the big two. Plus he plays 4-4-2. Just maybe not in traditional wingers-crosses game sense.

I prefer LvG too. We have to support the manager.

We don't want to become fickle fans like some club who chanted #[insert managers name]OUT after waiting for glory for so long, even though he brought success before. Chanted so hard but suddenly change of heart when start winning again.

Sigh. Such fickle-ness.

What elite managers left out there? Pretty objective but Simeone? Blanc? Pep? Brend... nevermind.

Before this, I thought United would be playing like a hybrid of LvG's tiki-taka, and Giggsy's experience playing SAF direct, aggressive style. Turns out, the result is more similar towards Moyes' style nowadays!

Maybe the Scottish curse is real!

If you think LvG is harsh/stubborn, I believe JM is even harsher. So, for me, a no-no. At least, LvG is older, and mellowed down a bit I think. No (eye)balls were harmed. Yet!

Giggs? Still think he need to take managerial job somewhere. Giving him the job straight without any credentials is crazy I think.

just as planned.jpeg?

mou knows lvg will screw up hard.
so he destroys chelsea, gets the sack and wait to jump over.
a ship he missed when saf named moyes as successor.
which makes his job of bringing us in top4 easier in a way
also, he sold mata to us so he can play him in red shirt thumbup.gif

If anything, I would like Pocetino to manage United. Younger, hungrier and playing aggressive football. He had hiccups but managed to turn around including the off form Harry Kane and Dembele earlier in the season.

But of course. Levy.

When anderson first came to united he's actually a pretty big deal

He was, I think before he got that major injury. Broken leg, or knee? Can't remember but United still took the gamble. Mind you, he was good at neutralising Gerrard and Fabregas and has sweet left footed long range passing, even if not as effective as Scholes.

Well, that was before he discovered the orgasm-inducing chips and crisps. tongue.gif

Trying to take off pressure from players and onto him.

We shall see if that will work or not.

Happy holidays, have your wine and mince pies. Goodbye.
