Keep Getting Forum Notification, Really annoying, inbox is FULL

I keep getting this forum notification of new thread started , I get bout 50 a day. I've unchecked the send me updates box in the control panel and still it won't stop. I've never asked to be sent this, and I've tried to get rid of it. Help me out.

Go to your forum control panel. Under topics, click "View Forums". Then unsubscribe there.

That worked for while, now it's acting up again. This really sucks cause I never intentionally subscribed to ANY forum what so ever, why do I keep getting notification in my mails.

could you post up a screenshot of what type of notification emails you are getting?
