Came out in the news - couldn't be false. The only reason that it’s false - the media "misinterpreted" the minister statements

If there is no hike of tol rate then gov has to pay a premium to the highway company
My understanding was wrong ?

Now gov is saying tol rate and lrt/ktm fare was not been hiking for the past decade, now its time..
So i was actually wonder where does our tax paid gone to as highway/public transport are 1 of the rakyat benefit.
And what will be the advantage of br1m if gov decided to approve all these price hiking.
Maybe at the first place already wrong, gov decided to sign a unreasonable contract, cant convince if one is saying that is non-kroni company.

As expected, huge hike. For example, from Putra Height to KL Sentral using cash is RM 4.10 one way. From Subang Jaya to KL sentral is RM 3.90 one way. From putra Height to KLCC is RM 4.80, while from Subang Jaya to KLCC is RM 4.20 one way.

I am wondering what would be the MRT fare now.

LRT "human jam" during peak hour.

not sure if drive will be better, petrol+jam+car park, all are $$.
but a lot of stations from PH to reach KL sentral. LOLLLL

i prefer new system of charging more for those who pay cash..pls refer to cashless table whereby the raise is reasonable fr lrt n unreasonable for monorail n ktm..

Eitherway cashless is the way to go!! hope highway toll plaza use d same concept...

Taking LRT still need to drive to park at the station which cost car park as well. But overall, definately is cheaper.

With a cheaper cost, it will involves some inconveniences, for example walking under hot sun / heavy rain, security alert when walking to station at night time, sharing the "air con and smell with other in the coach, just keep standing along the whole journey, lose the mobility in between (let say can't go for lunch in other place don't have lrt station), etc.
