because you're kinda supposed to always discharge and recharge batteries you've married to each other together. regulated mods are safer than mechs but you should still take some precautions

I'd rather charge 2 then the other one rather than charging them in the mod, lol.

because if the mod's cut off feature gets garbled you'll find out the hard way that it did.

that and if you don't use a proper wall to usb adapter you'll just screw up your usb port on say your pc. 1amp for dual tray and 2.1amp? for quad tray chargers usually.

best of both worlds I guess, could sell vtc5s to regulated and mech users, since mech users would steer clear from hg2s. I see your business angle now.

yeah, i was surprised at how much more famous the hg2 are than the 30q locally when 30q was the clear winner in tests (albeit no real world difference in regulated mods), but did not know about the whole quality problem until vail pointed it out when he visited the site. but then again i dont use those batteries so xD

same way you calculate it with a tube mod.

v / Ω = amps
v*v / Ω = wattage

parallel is safer since it doubles your amperage limit (in a perfect scenario) and mah. just be sure to use fresh batteries and marry them. not two random batteries you've used before. as for when to swap out batteries, you'd feel a drop in vapor at around 3.6~3.7v


mechs draws less amp as your battery discharges, regulated mods usually cuts off at 3.3v or so, since they're the ones that has to put out constant wattage, hence higher amp draw from a discharged battery.
